Westchester Golf Course

Great day overall. Rocky start to round when one of the guys in my group got chewed out for not wearing a mask.

I get the protocols, but c'mon man. We're all outside, so there's no real benefit in wearing a mask anyways. Looking forward to the days were mask wearing is a thing of the past.

Love the course and the staff, but every weekend is completely overbooked. The cart path is like the 405

Played on March 11 and the pace was really great. Finished in under 3.5 hours. Only had to wait on a few holes. The greens were in excellent shape and were fast. The fairways, or what they fairways were horrible. Could barely tell where they started or ended. Don’t know if it was because of the rain but the tees were all moved to the front. The course played very short and you could nearly reach the greens on all the par 4s.

Lots of fun good challenging holes, looking forward to playing again soon.

Way overbooked and atrocious customer service.

The starter is a jerk and the GM doesn't care about customers. All they care about is money. Took my weekly golf game, buckets of balls and everything else we by ELSEWHERE. Go somewhere else

If you’re trying to get through this round under 4 hours then make sure your tee time is no later than 10am. Westchester just throws as many people out on the course as they can at a time, and with a terrible lay out, it causes everything to get backed up very quickly. Played only the front 9 today because it took almost 3 hours just to complete that. Due to this course having mostly par 3s, a lot of new beginner golfers play here, but this only delays pace of play by the hours. Great little course to go through if you get out early. But if it’s past 10am, good luck!

While I do love Westchester Golf course the recent golf boom has apparently let some things fall through the cracks. First off there is a sign that says No spectators and what do we find in front of us but a group of 5 with one person just “watching”. There was another sign that said each player must have there own bag...everyone sharing a golf bag. The last time I went with my wife who had a half bag and no putter they made me rent a full bag after I had just asked if I could rent a putter. I get it everyone in this pandemic is clamoring for something to do and golf has seen a surge in play but all I ask is that you maybe try and follow the rules a little more. It really helps with the pace of play in the end.

Potentially fun course but extremely slow. Waiting 15 mins between holes. They should let less people on or put more time between each group teeing off.

Westchester is where I go to Practice, the driving range is pretty decent a lot of Matt's available with little to no wait times.

The course is a Short yardage 18 holes that has only one Par 5 hole It's fairways are tightly packed and to play well you have to be a straight hitter. Alas people are all over the place and play from adjoining fairways often.

Greens are ok for the amount of use they're subjected to. So it's a pretty good place to take the range on to the course and practice
