Westchester Golf Course

As a local in the Westchester area, I played here all the time pre-COVID. It was easy to get tee times and we could pretty much walk over and tee off whenever. But now that golf is the only thing people can do and everyone on the planet has picked it up, those glory days are long gone. This place is booked solid ALL DAY EVERY DAY. And they’re sending groups off every eight minutes, which is leading to enormous backups and absolutely excruciating pace of play. Seven-hour rounds are not uncommon. The last time we played here, there were FOUR groups waiting to tee off on the second hole and people were giving up and walking off. We gave up after battling through the front nine at nearly the pace it should’ve taken to play 18. I’ve heard the same from countless friends and others I’ve talked to. Unless you’re chill with waiting 10-15 minutes to tee off on every hole or are a masochist, seriously, don’t bother.

Course was fine, but starter was a jerk . Would turn his back to talk then get mad when you ask what did you say? The rest of the staff was awesome!

We teed off as a 2 some at 5:16 am. Started off with lights being on.It stayed on for 4 holes, until day light breaks. The course is playable. Its a quick golf fix. The greens were fast and full of divots. Lots of angulations. Some hole placements were super tucked almost to the edge of the green. (Weird) the course plays longer than it is for some reason. Lots of loose balls everywhere. Tee boxes are beat up. Shot 75 off the blues with 1 birdie. Good luck won't play here unless I'm playing for big $$$

My reservation through GolfNow was prepaid with cart included.

At the proshop however,, didn’t honor that it was cart included and they charged me for the carts separately.

I golf here 1-2 times per week. This was the worst is it's ever been. The clubhouse stopped announcing the groups, which I've never seen. Bad day out there. I walked off after 9.

This course is a great value for the money, and conditions are usually great. On 8/8/20, the rough hadn’t been cut in a while, and it was way too high in a few spots (#2). Most common issue is overwatering on the greens, and this was the case on Saturday (5:16am tee time). On multiple occasions, sprinklers are left on forever...causing enormous puddles, often more than one on a green. You should NEVER have to putt through a puddle...unless it’s pouring rain.

They have groups tee off every 5 minutes which causes backing up from the beginning. Front desk staff was cold and unfriendly. Cart girl Ashley was awesome. Some greens were in really bad condition from players not fixing divots and some were in better shape. Overall it wouldn't be my course to choose but this area is limited so I put up with it. Just keep your expectations low and buy some drinks from Ashley while you wait.

Overall the course is in good condition the fairways are large and Green. The Green’s could be in good shape if people would repair their Divet in Marks it only takes a few seconds. And pick up your masks also

You may need to wear a helmet to play here. Balls cross crossing the fairway everywhere

I went to the course and checked in and was told I had to pay $138. I told the attendant, Greg (according to the receipt) that I had a $17 per person reservation because it was a hot deal on Golf Now and he stated, "I don't know what that is". This feels like a real bait and switch situation.

Love the course and easy ness of getting on the course just didn’t like having to wear a mask the whole time.

Executive course with some par 4’s par 5’s. Perfect for what It is

Being Covid rules I guess they don’t honor the deals on here? Of well it was just a few bucks anyways and I was happy to be able to play

Love this course learned how to golf here. Made great friends here. New management has chased me out. Extremely petty and terrible customer service. Happy to give my 5000$ a year to someone else...
