9th hole on Canyon. One of the most picturesque holes on the course. Tough hole that plays into the wind. Photo submitted by aliikane10 on 07/14/2017

Great day at Cinnabar
As always, had a great time at the Cinnabar. This is my favorite course in the area.
Special mention to the staff, always courteous and welcoming.

Great Course
Can't say enough about cinnabar. Two golfers and a cart for 85$ was a great deal also
Friday afternoon
Cinnabar is always a challenging course but the layout is fair. It is better for mid to low handicap. High handicap players will struggle and lose lots of balls. The course was in great condition and pace of play is usually 4-4.5 hours.
This course is always fun to play
I've played this course several times and never tire of it. Great layout, unique set of holes, always in fantastic shape
Great layout, good views
I've been hearing a lot of positive talk about this course so I went to play it. Very well takin care of, the staff was polite and proffessional. Every hole offers something different. Not an overpowering track. Played 3 wood off the tee the hole round, plenty of club. Greens were sanded and I didn't get a heads up about that info when I booked my round. That's the only negative thing. I see them Rollin quick when that's gone though. Gets a little windy late in the day up there, place is open to the elements. Would recommend to anyone wanting to go to a nicer track.
Cinnabar Hills perfection
This course is just perfect - with the views and difficulty. It is a pretty challenging course but also allows the intermediate player to enjoy fruits of good shots. The views are to die for. Played in the evening when usually it is has some wind but this time the wind showed up late.
excellent
one of the nicest courses I've played everything was perfect
Beautiful venue. Terrible greens.
With my partner's Hole-in-one on Lake #2, our first time outing was an adventure in a very hilly venue. The greens were in poor shape, like putting on pavement - ice rink fast with hardly any grass.
Spring Golf
Perfect weather and course was in very good shape following the Winter rains and the temp in the low 70's. Great value for the money and the views, terrain, and elevation changes always make this course a great choice!
One of the best public links
I have been playing golf for a number of years, this is one of the best public links I have played. From tee to green, its well maintained. The green is impeccable if not too perfect, many 3 putts. I'd recommend this course to any of my fellow golfers without any reservation. " I will be back"
Mountain Lakes nines
Great scenery, perfect pace of play. Played as a twosome and hardly had to wait on any tee shots. Course is in very good condition although a bit soft due to resent heavy rains. Lots of birds to view while not hitting a shot.. Golf museum in the clubhouse is very interesting and almost as large as the PGA museum in Florida.
Nice course
Despite all the rain in the Bay Area, the course was in wonderful condition. Fairways had few wet spots however we were 90 degrees. The greens were true and fast. This is one of my favorite course in the area. If you're traveling in or around the San Jose and looking to play a round for golf, this course is a must.
Nice design, great views
This was my second time playing this course, and first time playing the Mountain holes (which I think are the easiest) for our front nine. Lots of elevation changes places a premium on club selection, but also provides plenty of stunning views. We played the Canyon holes for our back nine, and I find it more challenging as it can be quite tight in places. Overall a beautiful course, however with the recent rain neither the fairways nor the rough had been cut which added an additional challenge, though it did not inhibit our experience. Greens were in realtively good shape and rolled true making putting fun. I played with my father who was visiting from Canada and a single who joined us. Pace was OK, but we did spend some time looking for balls as the rough was quite thick.
