Cinnabar Hills Golf Club - Lake/Canyon

Most courses are in bad shape due to lack of rain. This course is one of the better for the money.

Well maintained and friendly staff. We always have a great round. Challenging, but worth the time and money.

Love this course! From the grass driving range to the 18th hole. The beauty is everywhere. The staff is most accommodating.

It was a cold windy day. the course was very wet with a lot of standing water, but we expected that. Cart path only and walking was difficult.

What a beautiful course. Very challenging, especially when the wind kicks up. Swallow pride and play up one tee box for a better scoring round.

Awesome course. Cinnabar is my favorite course in bay area but, rate is little high.

The course was in excellent condition. This was a big change from playing golf in flatlands of Florida. A very good challenge for any golfer. I would highly recommend this course if you are in the San Jose area.

My favorite combination of nines. The course offers a variety of challenges for most skill levels and offers great views of the valley on a clear day. A good shot is rewarded and off line shots are not unfairly punitive. Depending on your tee boxes, many holes require a forced carry off the tees so don't let the relative length of the courses fool you. Choose where you play from based on your abilities. If you tee off early on the weekend (within the first 90 minutes of play), you can complete your round in 4 hours or less. The course is always in good to great condition. Primarily, unless recently plugged, the greens are usually fast and roll well. Highly recommended!

The course greens are in great shape. The overall course is okay due to the lack of rain but generally and normally it is in very good shape.

I like the mix of holes and having three nine-hole courses.

This course has awesome elevation changes throughout the entire course. Having not played there before, there were many times I was not sure what club to use on my tee shots. Most of the holes had some sort of out of bounds that was reachable on the tee shots making it very important to drive the ball well. If you chose to favor the side with not OB, you could end up in the hay. I enjoyed the challenge and thought the layout was great. Not for the beginning golfer. Greens are very fast and fairways are narrow.

I felt like I was on vacation in an inspiring, beautiful setting. A slight fog rolled in on the first/second holes that contributed to the overall fantastic experience! Get away and go play this Southbay gem!

This a place were you get your money worth. The design is beautiful and challenging. Can't wait to go back.

Great! Always friendly, courses is great. Every time when I go n play front nine want to go to different back nine they always say yes.

I have always loved this course, but it's not cheap
Very challenging, a lot of places to get in trouble, if you are driving your ball straight the day you play then you should do well. Some great down hill holes, beautiful views, the clubhouse is great. Fantastic place to have a glass of beer or wine and something to snack on with the boys

The course fairway were recently plugged. There was little or no roll on the fairways. The green were very nice.

This course is for shot makers. There's very little forgiveness to be had so if you don't hit fairways bring lots of balls. There are many forced carry shots that must be near perfect to execute. The greens are very fast and that's OK but they're a bit goofy with severe breaks everywhere. Not many straight putts. The staff is friendly and the conditions were fine. I probably will not go back but only because this 14.2 Index player does not hit every shot perfectly. As a result I frustratingly lost 6 balls where I almost always finish with the same ball.

Cinnabar is a fun challenging course to play. L like the long carries over canyons.

Came upon a great rate & was very pleased with the green, fairways & bunkers [not by choice];

Challenging enough and with the 27 hole layout you don't feel like you're playing the same course over and over!

Greens were a little slower than I remembered. In all fairness the greens were aerated 1-1.5 weeks ago. Overall course conditions not bad since there is a drought in CA.
