Day ruined
Was playing today with my friend. I am a returning golfer and my friend a new golfer. We tee’d off and we’re stuck behind a group who were slow to play. We only have 1 set of clubs between us but try to take the club needed to not slow down people. After waiting for the guys in front to finish for 5 mins on tee we followed down. Group behind us had to wait approx 2 mins to tee off on this tee. On next fairway group behind us started swearing at us and shouting for us to let them through as we only had 1 set of clubs. We said yes immediately but they still continued to swear and berate us. We let them play through immediately and got no thank you. Awful experience ruined by hate keeping members. Friend new to golf said this is the reason people don’t play the sport because of this…. Greenacres itself and staff are great.
Great course
A great and well kept course. Considering the time of year, it was in very good condition and plays even better in the summer months.
Wet weather didn’t hamper the round
For the weather we have had recently the course was in really good condition especially the greens.
Our four ball all enjoyed it
Massive changes for the good.
Played this course 16 years ago. From then to now it’s an incredible change. Wet course after some serious rain back then was unplayable. Now it’s beautiful and holds up very well. So good I’ve considered membership. Amenities are top notch. Everything you’d need and want in a course. Will be back many times going forward.
Course conditions
Tree leafs everywhere very hard to find a ball if of the edge of fairway. Greens over spiked can't take a putt without changing its line..
Lovely course & in great condition
Only down fall was because it was competitions on the Saturday it was very very slow play, several holes there was 3/4 groups waiting to tee off still, but the course itself was perfect
Brilliant course for the money
I’ve played this a few times at different times of the year and it is always in excellent condition. I’m looking forward to playing it again.
