Off the beaten track maybe, but none the worse for that. The course and greens are always in great condition and the water hazard although large is never a major factor.

The staff are always pleasant and professional.

A very well layed out 9 hole course with some fantastic views. Dual tee box’s to mix the front and back 9 up making the holes different on both loops. The short par 3 7th is the best par 3 I’ve played with its blind tee shot and drop in elevation, very hard to judge with the breeze off the sea. The 8th was the next best hole, a sloping fairway makes for a demanding tee shot. While walking past the clubhouse towards the car park we could see the restaurant was packed full and the smells coming from the kitchen would explain why, will be stopping for food on our next visit.

One of the best Scenic courses in Ireland ...some greens are z wee bit bumpy ...excuse for my poor putting.

The scenery is amazing of the antrim coast and Scotland.

Golf now stated there were some temporary greens. In actual fact there was only one green opened and the best hole on the course, in my opinion the 7th was closed completely.

The staff and members at the course were fantastic and made us very welcome.

We spoke to 2 other players on the way round and they were also complaining that Golf now had misrepresented the conditions of the course.

I will definitely play the course again but never use Golf Now to book.

Club website has changed from previously stating that 'temporary greens in play' to 'course open'. This implies that the full course is open, which it most certainly wasn't. 6 temporary greens and the 7th hole closed. I accidentally played the 7th as it wasn't fully clear to me that it was closed. A female member was so rude when advising me the hole isn't in play. She was full of her own self importance. I advised her, I was a visitor and that it wasn't clear to me that it was closed. I collected my ball of the green, repaired the pitch mark and moved on to the 8th. Nobody was killed! Lol. Anyway, Larne is a lovely 9 hole course, but felt their website mis-sold the condition of the course and the ladies rant, didn't help!

We booked for Wednesday but got dates mixed up and arrived Thursday. The lady in charge was fantastic and let us go out. There was a club outing and they had the tee booked from 12 - 12.30 and they were fantastic, letting go out ages of them. I have paid lots of money playing fancy golf courses but I can say without fear of contrition on a sunny day, the course in excellent condition and views to die for this course would rival any course in the country. I would like to say a big thanks to the lady in charge and the members for treating us so well . On the downside I forgot the battery for my trolley so I was nacjered after the round.

Hi.. don't expect world class golf links.... this is a great course for the price and in the wind not that easy... greens was very good and true.... not a lot of room on the 8th for a push or slice.... over all for part links this I cheap....... don't be put off with course being 9 holes...

The scenery is amazing

The course runs round the shoreline and presents a challenge to a 12 handicap golfer

The grass at the edge of the semi rough is very very thick and varys between a foot to two foot in length. If you get a bounce or even your ball runs into this it is lost impossible to find a ball this ruined my day.

A great maintained course with good greens and interesting holes

A course in great condition for the time of year, although only 9 holes alternative tees on back nine make it a test. The 7th is a great wee surprise 🏌️‍♂️
