Excellent course
The tee boxes, Fairways and greens were in excellent condition!! This is the best course by far that I have played in Florida!!
Favorite Course
This is a place that is luckily close by but then again that does not mean much in Florida with course all over. With that said, this is a course that will bring out most of your clubs in your bag and it is much improved now that rainy season is here and the course super is doing great work. Yes as people have said the greens are rough but anyone should realize maintenance has to be done and this will only improve vastly in time. This is a place I play more than others and it is a lot of fun and those that work here are very customer service oriented. Good job !!!
It's summer time...
The greens were punched so your ball bounced it's way toward the hole but never seemed to drop.
Pass…
I’ve played this course at least 1x per yr when I come to visit my folks.
Normally, well thought out track, good fairways and bunkers and greens.
But today the greens were atrocious.
Experience was good
Greens looking pretty rough. Enjoyed the layout and staff was very friendly. Good overall.
Okay if cheep
So many bugs on hole 1 and 10 I could not breathe , had to put up the window.. Layout is good , fairways are nice , greens are bad , missing grass..If your rate is cheep do it.. They will fix them in season..
Greens
The tees, fairways( expect one or two) and rough were fine. Greens however are no where near as good as they have been in the past. Last played end of March when they were really nice but since then they have gone downhill. They haven’t grown out of last aerification and being a former GCS I understand it’s not the time of year for them to be great down here, with that said it just looks like they have been neglected lately. But for the 20 rate early in the day I can’t complain too much.
Not what I remembered.
Played her a couple of years ago and, if memory serves, it was not too bad, so booked it for a transit round on my way home from Miami. The greens had been punched, but it was obvious they had problems before they were punched because they were very uneven and had quite a few bare patches (every green, not just one or two). For the most part the greens would be considered unplayable by most golfers. The upside, I did not pay very much, and I played in 2 hours and 20 minutes without seeing another golfer.
I would say give it three or four weeks to see if they can get their greens back to playable condition. The tee boxes and fairways were OK. The bunkers had not been dressed, maybe due to some recent rain.
Good layout
Greens were in terrible shape fairways were okay t-boxes need work I've played this course half a dozen times before and it's been in better shape don't know what's going on but it needs to be fixed
Father's Day
To many player back to back. Took myself and another player over 6 hours to b play 18.
Course is in good shape considering the lack of rain and extreme heat. Several holes that allow one to open up and several holes that present challenges to a variety of skills. Staff is professional, friendly, and accommodating. Good experience and good value for the money... now with a little course knowledge, looking forward to return.
As you can see in the picture you posted, we just aerated our greens. It will be grown back and back to great greens in a week.
