About
The Links at Greenfield Plantation combines a rare mix of championship golf with affordability surrounded by a breathtaking natural environment. This is a course that calls for deliberate club selection as it weaves through beautiful marshes and under bridges, punctuated only by sparkling lakes and large bunkers surrounding undulating greens. Four sets of tees determine your challenge. The new clubhouse features a snack bar and well-stocked pro shop. A courteous staff is available to see to all your golfing needs. Located just two miles east of I-75, Exit 220 in Bradenton, The Links is just minutes away from St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Sarasota.

30 minute delay to tee off due to NO golf carts!!!!!
We arrived 30 minutes prior to our tee time and more than 20 people were standing around waiting to tee off because the golf course did NOT have any golf carts available!!!! Starter said it’s like this every day. We teed off 30 minutes after our scheduled tee time. The starter put another foursome out ahead of us that had a later scheduled tee time. When asked why he stated he couldn’t explain why!!! Course is very poorly managed. If you don’t have enough carts, DON’T book tee times. Many people got tired of waiting and left! I called the pro shop and they really didn’t want to hear it. I left my name/# and asked to have the manager call me which he never did! We won’t play this course again.
Pleasant time
We had a nice time. Bit slow pace and course condition could be better but looks like it’s been quite dry Course layout is very interesting n enjoyable. Greens pretty slow but consistent Overall it was very nice time
Friendly staff. Good value.
The course was in pretty good condition. The staff was very friendly. There is quite a bit of water. The traps are well maintained. Greens were in good shape.
Solid
Never disappoints. Only issues were with loads of trimmings left on a couple holes. Also couple tee boxes uneven ground. Then the Expected with an afternoon tee time with some tee boxes full of divots; can’t complain much there. Great course of you snag a good price.
Poorly Managed
This club continues to be poorly managed. Had to wait 20 minutes past tee time to get a golf cart. 2 1/2 hour front nine,. Never have seen a ranger on this course, and no cart girl on a holiday weekend. After getting to hole 10 and seeing another 15-20 minute back-up, we decided to leave the course. This course is what it is. They put as many people on the course as they can, and you fend for yourself. To many other good courses in area to go back.
Sorry that you had a bad experience on Labor Day. September is our slowest month, and we have a few staff illnesses that we are dealing with, but we are doing our best. Labor Day is typically busy, but we have 8 minute tee times, and honor them. We will get additional carts in season, but that is a month away. it’s just a tough golf day. Sorry for the inconvenience. Courses in very good shape greens were decent fairways were good tea boxes were in good shape. I find the staff at this course friendly and accommodating really can't ask for too much more I will be back soon. Wide open Pace was good

I played here 5 weeks ago and what a difference they've made the greens were in very good shape fairways are in great shape even with all the rain relatively dry as a forgiving fairways and really enjoyable place to play very decent food in the restaurant just wish they had a full liquor license staff is very accommodating
Course in poor shape.
Usually a fan of this course, but it was in very poor shape today. It was playing in a swamp. We had to keep the cart on the cart path, so there was a lot of sloshing around. I understand that there has been a decent amount of rain lately, but IMO they should have offered us a free round.
I’m sorry but this is not a well thought out review. You can’t hold golf courses accountable for the amount of rain we have been receiving lately. Think a little before posting online.
For anyone else reading this, please read our other recent reviews. Great conditions and the friendliest staff in town. All at a GREAT price.
Rude staff and poor course conditions
Cart guy was very rude and impatient. Didn’t value us as customers and golfers. Course is in rough shape. Greens are slow and tee boxes need to be fixed badly. I would not recommend anyone to play here unless you have absolutely no other options and need to play. Will not return

This is Tony the course owner. Our starter should have explained to you that we are in the midst of a pandemic and that our seasonal cart supplier has delayed the November 1 delivery date of our additional seasonal carts. We ordered these carts last winter. The supply chain problems are simply slowing everything down. They should be delivered tomorrow and we hope to have everyone in a cart 30 minutes before their tee times as is our standard practice. I apologize for the 30 minute delay, but we are dealing with a once in a generation event, and we all need to work together to get through these inconveniences.
