About
The Links at Greenfield Plantation combines a rare mix of championship golf with affordability surrounded by a breathtaking natural environment. This is a course that calls for deliberate club selection as it weaves through beautiful marshes and under bridges, punctuated only by sparkling lakes and large bunkers surrounding undulating greens. Four sets of tees determine your challenge. The new clubhouse features a snack bar and well-stocked pro shop. A courteous staff is available to see to all your golfing needs. Located just two miles east of I-75, Exit 220 in Bradenton, The Links is just minutes away from St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Sarasota.

Rough
Like the layout. Fairways were like rough so no roll & tough for those that like to run the ball onto greens..
Great layout
This course is in great condition, anyone would truly enjoy playing golf here.
All Good Today
First time playing here. No problems from start to finish. Was one of the first groups off in morning so pace was very good. Great value and will return!
Excellent
Very nice. Greens are fast with a little bit of drought caused patches but overall a great golf experience. I’ll be back for sure
Nice Course, Decent Shape, Good Value
Played late afternoon round on a Sunday. Got around in less than four hours. Course was in decent condition, even though we’ve had no rain for weeks. Will go back.
Someone is always rude when I play here
Guy at front desk didn’t have my tee time that I booked on tee off, I showed him my confirmation email and he said “I don’t care it’s not in my system” then proceeded to get snippy with me when the price I agreed to pay online was different than his price. He made it out to be my fault that I booked on teeoff “after we closed”. He was so rude to me, it made everyone in the room feel uncomfortable who was waiting to be taken care of. I talked to my friend who booked his tee time 20 minutes after mine and said the guy at the front desk was complaining about me causing the issues, and was rude to him and his group of guys. He even made someone leave the golf course because he refused to let them play since it was 5 people instead of 4...lol, the few times I have come here I’ve had someone be rude to me. I walked out to get my cart and the two starters were yelling at people for bribing water on the course...Pace of play was good. Greens were a little sandy, but the lady who served lunch was really pleasant and the food was great.
Germs and tees
I thought the greens rolled true but seem to be a little weedy and brown the tees were not flat couldn’t find a flat spot on the Tee so the T placements weren’t that great nice cars.
Very poor course flow
I’ve never had to wait on every hole while 2-3 groups ahead of us waited as well. Paid for 18 holes of golf, quit after 9 it was so slow.
Tight with water galore
Quite a course. Precision off the teebox is a requirement. Greens are fast but smallish and not slopey.
Great place
Course is in great condition and the staff could not be more friendly..
Value
To label this as a “best bang for the buck” course does it a great disservice. It is a community course that meets or exceeds expectations for an enjoyable, and challenging round of golf in its price range.
Cart Guy/Starter
I’ll start by saying this, I like the course for the most part. But I encountered the most awful cart guy/starter I’ve ever met. Older guy, sounds like he’s from New York, acts like he thinks he’s a mod boss. One of the rudest people I’ve ever met in my life. Most likely will not go back, simply because of him.

Good course, in good condition for this late in the season. Love the GPS on the carts as this was our 1st time playing the course. I will play this course again!
