About
The Links at Greenfield Plantation combines a rare mix of championship golf with affordability surrounded by a breathtaking natural environment. This is a course that calls for deliberate club selection as it weaves through beautiful marshes and under bridges, punctuated only by sparkling lakes and large bunkers surrounding undulating greens. Four sets of tees determine your challenge. The new clubhouse features a snack bar and well-stocked pro shop. A courteous staff is available to see to all your golfing needs. Located just two miles east of I-75, Exit 220 in Bradenton, The Links is just minutes away from St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Sarasota.

Challenging, but not difficult
The course has its challenges, but is not overly difficult. Greens are in great shape.
The Links at Greenfield Plantation
The course conditions were far superior to other courses in this same price category. The faiways and tee boxes were in good condition as were the greens.
Why go back?
Played front in a little over two hours - no problem. Got to back , 3 groups on twelve, 15 min wait on the tee, Golf cart sputtered out so we decided it was not worth it to continue..
Excellent course.

Teatime Monday afternoon extremely slow play 1 hour to reach the fourth hole they had a shotgun league starting at 3:00 lead players came right by us set up on the 4th 5th 6th hole we had already had 2 threesomes in a foursome in front of us very poorly run won't be back for a while
Slow, slow, slow, never again
Had a 2:04 tee time, when we got to the 1st tee there were still 3 groups on the hole. After playing the first 4 holes in 1:20, 2 additional groups showed up on the 5th tee as part of a shotgun start league and went ahead of us. Instantly decided it would be unplayable at that point as 9 holes would have taken over 3 hours and 5 different groups were on that same hole. Unacceptable. When we returned to the clubhouse the owner relayed to the register employee that there was nothing they would do to make good on our spoiled afternoon except give us the task of “call Golfnow”. Luckily, Golfnow gave us a credit but I would never ever recommend greenfield plantation to anybody that loves the game.
Worst golf experience ever
We played 4 holes in about 1:30 minutes, pace was very slow. Then8 guys show up and crowd in front of the 8 already on the tee and announce they are a league and have a shotgun start. We left but if we had stayed we would have played 9 holes in over 3 hours. Clubhouse personnel just confirmed that is how this league is run. UNBELIEVABLE THEY WOULD RUN A COURSE LIKE THIS.
This is a duplicate review. You were sent off before your tee time. Not behind the shotgun. And you were sent off before your tee time. The league behind you played 9 holes in 2 hours.

Always slow pace!

For the value, good day!!
The course is in good condition for January. Still don't like waiting until 15 minutes before teeing off to check in and get cart. Some players like to warm up before playing their round. Hit a few range balls and putt.

You purchased a hot deal directly from Golf Now. You showed up early and was actually sent to the tee prior to your tee time. When you came back to pro shop, the attendant told you that if you wanted a refund, you would have to call golf now, because golf now collects 100% of the revenue on hot deals. No money comes to the course. There is nothing else we could do. I verified that you were refunded in full yesterday. And the groups behind you played 9 holes in two hours.
