Beware of the mosquitos and time change
Tee time scheduled for 708 but time change affected that time slot. Out at 732 once members were accommodated. Caveat mosquitoes horrible before sunrise! Waiting to get cart and to go to tee box they were on youvhirtibly. Bring insect repellant! Overall nice challenging course!
Great Day at Greenfield
Arrived early and was moved up to 1st tee time. Played with two nice guys in Brian and Mike. Course in very good conditions. Greens were tough and fast.
Played in 3:25.
Will be back for sure !!
Rather tight course. Greens in great shape. Pace of play was slow, but tolerable. Excellent lady staff member in clubhouse.
Course was packed
We teed off at 2:00 pm and had to quit at 5:30 pm after playing just 13 holes. We waited on every shot. No surprise. It’s that time of year. Enjoyed the layout and the course was in good shape.
Great Value
This course in the afternoon for 34-40 bucks is the sweet spot price for a course like this. Tee boxes are in generally great condition. Fairways are in good condition. Nothing that would prevent you from hitting a good fairway shot. Greens are good. They jump a little but the roll decent for this price point. If you’re looking for a value round with a cool layout, cheap course beers, and a good time I recommend this place.
But beware that the pace of play is slow. I get it. At that price they are packed, but I’m okay with the trade off in February.
Hoppy 1421
The course has plenty of water to challenge both tee shots and approach. Greens were firm with above average speed. You had better bring your game if you intend to score. If you’re playing to have fun, bring a good supply of old golf balls
Slow
The course is in very good condition however that was almost overshadowed by the 7to 10 min. wait at every tee. The club was very overbooked and it made for a frustrating experience.
This course sucks
First of all the course is insanely tight. Water on almost every hole. Greens are pretty rough. Me and my buddy made a tee time for 230. It is currently 4:00 and we have only played 4 holes, no joke. There are tee times every 8 minutes! EIGHT MINUTES. There are people littered all over the course. We were sitting on 4 tee, there was a group of 4 on the women’s tee in front of us, there was a foursome on the fairway, a foursome on the green and a foursome on 5th tee. This place is ridiculous, they do not care if you finish your round, they just try to get as many people on the course as possible. If you want to finish a round, start your round at 7, where the fee is $60. I would give this place a zero star but that’s not an option. Thanks for listening to my rant, do not play this cou
Love the course couple of challenging holes. Forward tees good for my sweetheart
Sorry you had a bad experience. 8 minute tee times is pretty standard. Some courses actually do 7. Email me at tony@greenfield.golf. I’ll make this right with you and your buddy. Playing at 2:30 in the afternoon can be frustrating, as this is where the less experienced golfers tend to play. Thanks. Tony
