Eagle Trace Country Club

Course is in great condition. It is one of my favorite Florida courses. The rough was very difficult, ball sinks in Bermuda rough. The greens are gentle slopes and unique shapes. This is a quality test of ball striking

Greens had been aerated and sanded…. I was not aware. That was disappointing. Other than that the course was great.

The best time to golf in S. Florida is when the snowbirds aren’t here. I had the course to myself, Great condition minus the rain on the 7th hole. Played quick and finished my round in under 2.5 hours. I was like the only one on the course and will play here till the snowbirds come back and the prices skyrocket lol

First time playing here, enjoyed the round, friendly staff will play here again.

Fun but challenging. Lots of water. Would definitely give this course another run and attack.

Eagle Trace continues with its progressive improvement to the course. Overall the grounds are cut well from tee to green. The greens were rolling fairly quick but the grass has a “fuzzy” feel that can prevent putts from holding a consistent line, especially depending on the grow of the grain. The course has also done a great job of cutting excess trees and overgrowth. I hope they continue to do this as time passes to open up the views even more. There are numerous “useless” trees out there which could really open up the sight lines between holes around the center of the course. Bunkers were in good condition. Starter was exceptional. Service at the turn was quick. Pace of play was very slow. Teed off at 10 am (Saturday). Finished around 3. It appears too many groups were stacked too closely together (10 mins apart, should be 13-15). I hope improvements continue as this course because it is a true gem. Even in its current condition, it’s a must play.

Enjoyed playing the course. The fairways are in average condition as are the greens. The greens pace is considerably slower (but faster than what we played a couple of days ago) than I play at home and you will need to understand grain to putt and/or chip well.

Overall, the layout presents a challenge and is fun to play, but the course conditions are only average at best. This could be a first rate course with more care.

Showed up at the wrong course to play. I would never have made it in time for my scheduled tee time and decided to stay and play where I found myself. Pleasantly surprised as it was on a Monday at 10am and I had the entire course to myself. Course was in great shape. 6185 yards from the whites with only four par 3’s/5’s makes this course fun for every type of golfer, with only one par 5 over 500 yards. Greens are fast and true. Definitely will be back even though I live in Miami.
