Eagle Trace Country Club

A great golf course with an excellent layout. Pace of play was awesome. We were on and off in under 3 1/2 hours. The greens and fairways were in great condition. The greens speeds and pin placements were fair and do not punish the average golfer. There are no GPS devices in the golf carts. My only complaint is when considering the lack of a GPS, the yardage markers on the course are almost nonexistent. Since I was playing this for the first time, I felt like I was guessing at distances. It probably added 3 to 5 strokes to my round. But overall I highly suggest this course.

This course hosted the Honda Classic several years ago. Unfortunately they have let it go quite a bit from its PGA tour days. The layout is exceptional. I found the golf staff to be excellent.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was way below expectations. While my sandwich and fries were great, our server was eating her lunch (from Panera) while serving us. She was more interested in her sandwich and would take a bite and then fill our beers. I recognize that staff is difficult coming out of the pandemic, but this type of service at a premium golf course was very unexpected.

Great place to play. Course is incredibly well maintained. Layout is challenging and fun. Water on nearly every hole.

Had a tee time at 1pm arrived 20 minutes before starter asked what time we had and I said 1pm starter said if your ready you can start now or wait till 1pm, I mentioned if we could play as a twosome then we are if not we will wait until 1pm, he said it is all yours and away we went. Even though we waited on each shot we finished in 3.5 hours. Great round, course in very good condition (greens just a little slow, bunkers need a little work lots of rocks). I think it is the best course in South Florida to play.

My two sons and I truly enjoyed this course and will do it again!

My issue being there was no "on course" Marshall to monitor pace of play! Our round took more than 4 hrs. Because a 3 some 2 groups ahead were slow and not playing ready golf. This impacts my decision relative to playing additional rounds at Eagle Trace

Great course, lots of water but manageable for an intermediate golfer. It was beautiful!

Course was fun to play as always. Had the first tee time of the day so played quickly in under 3.5 hours. Tees and greens were in excellent shape other than a few greens were over watered and actually had puddles. Fairways yielded only tight lies as cut very short. Love this place so will be back many times to come.

If you’re on the fence about this place, go! This course has all the vibe of a private course and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is not an easy track so wouldn’t recommend for beginner golfers but if you’re looking for that great experience - this is it. Greens were a bit slow but beautifully manicured. Beautiful layout, awesome wildlife (burrowing owls, ducks, egrets), and really great conditions. We were smiling from beginning to end.

Good tees, fairways, and greens. Good value for the cost. Pace of play a bit slower than normal this time of year. Staff was friendly. Will play again.
