Eagle Trace Country Club

I’ve played this course before and always enjoyed it. It was a cold rainy day. Most people had canceled so the pace of play was good however, everyone in the clubhouse just wanted to go home. I said if you want to go home close the course and refund our money and I did not even get an acknowledgment just turned and walked away. I had a cart with no brakes. The lights were off in the entire building and there was no toilet paper in the ladies room. Not what I ever expected from this course I understand employees just wanted to go home.

As we were waiting to tee off, the club president jumped in front of us and delayed us for the first six holes. Bad manners

Great course, I played a month ago and enjoyed the course so much I returned to play again with more snowbird friends from up north. Great day friendly staff had lunch before we played. It was all good.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing at Eagle Trace! This used to be a TPC golf course. The course was in excellent condition, with lush fairways and a lot of water. The greens were incredibly fast, adding an extra layer of challenge and excitement to the round. Every hole was thoughtfully designed, offering a mix of strategy and skill. The staff was welcoming, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a fun yet demanding round of golf. Can't wait to return!

Need to know the layout before being surprised after you thought you hit a good shot. No GPS and scorecard provided just a little help. Good holes for sure ( 9 & 18). With the amount of water that comes into play - I think 16 of 18 holes, I would not recommend the course to a 15 handicap or higher.

Greens were excellent, but fairways have little grass on them.

Love the course layout and was challenging from the tips. The condition of the course wasn’t great, the grass in general can use a lot of work. Fairways average at best and pretty shotty. Greens were okay not great. Rough was a lot of weeds or just dirt. Pace of play was > 5 hours. I would probably go back, especially if they improve the groundskeeping, but choose a very early tee time so I don’t spend my entire day out there.

Greens are in very good condition. Not quite “resort level” but they’re firm and rolling 100% true. Improvements continue around the clubhouse too. My hope is they have plans do re-do the fairways and rough one day in the future to restore this course to its full potential, but it’s already very good the way it is.
