Links at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

This was my first time playing this course. I'll be brief but direct, it's now my second FAVORITE course of all time. I've been an avid golfer for 40 plus years and played courses like Harbor Town "Hilton Head" SC, Thornblade and the preserve at Keowee in upstate SC. I've played in almost every US State, "THE LINKS" is only second to "REGATTA BAY" Miramar Beach Florida in my personal opinion. From the layout of the course and scenery to the staff, amenities, and value for quality of play you owe it to yourself to experience this awesome golf link experience.

People were great and the course was not perfect conditions but vey nice and playable., I got a special rate due too the greens being aerated in last two weeks, Aeration was not a terrible roll on the greens. I will try it again when its not been aerated. Nice layout!

The greens were just aerated a few days ago. The staff said they were 70% healed but I would put it at 30%. The course is in good shape, but they need to have more water on the course to drink on a hot August day.

I get it, it’s touristy golf. But if you’re paying $127 for a round, it would be nice to have some consistent greens. They weren’t in great shape, one would roll fast, other like you’re putting on carpet. Range was closed so the round the included practice balls was a bummer. Should be a $75 course at most.

Course is amazing with beautiful views. Back 9, hole 15 right off of the water is a view to see. Staff is amazing and Tom, one of the pros there has the best customer service I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this course to anyone in the area.

Visiting Destin for the first time and with limited days for golfing I chose this course based just on the pictures of the course online. It was a little pricey, but in our opinion worth it. The course was in immaculate condition, staff was friendly and helpful. Cart girl checked on us several times. The only recommendation I would suggest to the course is more cold water available throughout the course to wet cold towels. The heat was pretty tough on the first nine but once we moved closer to the water the breeze was fantastic.

Greens fairways and rough were very very well kept. Great for the price, well worth it. Range balls are additionally provided. Would recommend !!

Course and range indicate they no longer care about anything but collecting $150/person. Range is pure weeds greens are pure sand and fuzz.

Booked this course because of the excellent waterfront views, but had concerns about the narrow fairways. Couldn’t have been more pleased with my round. The narrow fairways and hazards required thinking out the hole, and felt very rewarding when the strategy and club selection chosen paid off. The holes off the water were great and reminded us that we could look forward to hitting the beach after the round.

Opt for the 5 iron over the driver and you’ll have a great time.

Hole 9 and 14 are the standouts.

Tee's and faireays in pretty hood condition, but the greens disappointing.

This is an $80 course at best. I guess the price is more related to the tourist location rather than value of course.
