The Links Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. The architect, Tom Jackson, routed five holes along the bay and then wound the course inland across rolling undulations. In order to prevail against the blustery Gulf Coast winds, accuracy and proper club selection are essential, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. In addition to being right along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the Baytowne Marina serves as a backdrop to the course, providing even more stunning views of the Emerald Coast. Of the four championship golf courses that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers, the Links is one of the original two and also one of the most popular. The layout offers a unique links experience that all skill levels can enjoy, especially since it features four different sets of tees.

Spectacular vacation course

Great course with great views. The attendants and marshals were extremely friendly and helpful.

The course was in excellent shape, though the tee boxes could be improved. The fairways and greens were in excellent shape.

We paid appropriately $238 for two to play, which seems fair, given the course and spectacular views.

I will come back on my next visit to 30-A.

Great experience at The Links

My son and I play the links on a warm summer day. Upon arrival, the attendants were attentive and helpful, and the starter was extremely friendly.

He encouraged us to enjoy the course, taking the views, and have a memorable experience. Even encouraged us to take photos.

Though the tee boxes were less than perfect, the fairways were pristine and the greens were terrific.

The sand was always raked and immaculate.

$109 per person, per round is expensive, though the sticker price was a fair trade for an enjoyable day of golf!!

Was very disappointed after reading reviews, the course was average, the bay holes were great scenery, greens were rough, several different grasses growing in with Bermuda, very slow, rolling around a 7 or 8 at best, we had 6 to 7 mowers in front of us for first 6 holes, on the tee box, they even came up mowing them as we are trying to tee off, no where near worth the money they charge.

This course has views of the water that would rival any course in America. Great layout. Tremendous potential if the owner would just take care of it.

Painfully slow greens. They are healthy but okay at about a 5-6 speed on the stomp meter. Fairways generally okay but lots of random spots that need drainage. - s simple small French drain would address the issue.

The course was great. The greens were in good shape. Loved the layout, it was challenging and enjoyable at the same time. The view of the bay was beautiful. I would recommend The Links course to anyone. The driving range was “irons only”, it would have been nice to hit a few drivers before starting the round.
