The Links Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. The architect, Tom Jackson, routed five holes along the bay and then wound the course inland across rolling undulations. In order to prevail against the blustery Gulf Coast winds, accuracy and proper club selection are essential, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. In addition to being right along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the Baytowne Marina serves as a backdrop to the course, providing even more stunning views of the Emerald Coast. Of the four championship golf courses that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers, the Links is one of the original two and also one of the most popular. The layout offers a unique links experience that all skill levels can enjoy, especially since it features four different sets of tees.

One of my favorite courses

We recently played The LInks, and as always, we enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The course is in really good shape, especially the greens. Unfortunately, we have had bad weather along the Gulf coast for the last week or so, and we played between storms. So, the course was not in its normal, well kept state due to the storms, as the bunkers were washed out, but that is not the fault of the course or staff - just bad timing. As always, it is a challenging tract when the wind is blowing, but it will reward good shots. The beautiful holes on the Choctawhatchee Bay is worth the price of admission. I would recommend playing this one.

Course was in great shape when I played. It had beautiful Atlantic and Bay views. The tee boxes were well manicured and greens in great shape.. What more could you ask for. The checkin process was easy. everyone seemed to be going about their day. And most importantly the pace of play was managed well. Thanks for a great golf vacation and see you next summer.

Really beautiful, well designed with abundant sand and water. Only big complaint is the greens had just been punched and sanded and were remarkably slow. Would suggest offering a slightly discounted price given how long the greens were kept.

Perfect course…. Grumpy starter

Went down on a guys trip as we do multiple times per year. This is our favorite course bar none. It is always well-maintained and gorgeous water courses on the front nine.

However, the starter is very grumpy and takes himself way too serious. Got very rude with us before we even teed off. Almost to the point we canceled our round. Knowing how friendly Jerry is in the pro shop and how great the course is, we overlooked his attitude and went ahead and had a fantastic round. Get over yourself dude.
