The Links Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. The architect, Tom Jackson, routed five holes along the bay and then wound the course inland across rolling undulations. In order to prevail against the blustery Gulf Coast winds, accuracy and proper club selection are essential, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. In addition to being right along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the Baytowne Marina serves as a backdrop to the course, providing even more stunning views of the Emerald Coast. Of the four championship golf courses that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers, the Links is one of the original two and also one of the most popular. The layout offers a unique links experience that all skill levels can enjoy, especially since it features four different sets of tees.

Nice layout throughput the course, has a good amount of water and very large bunkers. We had to wait on every shot as the course was very busy which was odd for this time of year. Greens were recently punched as well so made it difficult putting on them. Won’t play it again for standard rate not worth the money spent.

The course has a nice layout with several picturesque holes. It is not difficult. Unfortunately, there are too many novice golfers who take too long. Course needs marshall to speed up play.

Overall course had some really good holes along the water.

It was hot and the cart girl came once on the 3 hole. Zero water on course.

Conditions are below average for the destin area.

Very slow play and staff are not very friendly.

A must play golf course

A must play golf course when you are in the area. A scenic golf course overlooking at the Bay on hole 8, 9, 13,14, and 15 hole. The staff were always awesome, especially the pro shop staff named, Jerry. He opened the pro shop 5 minutes before 7:00 AM. He is always giving an excellent customer service. He deserves a pay raise and a good bonus. I love this golf course because of the staff services....

I think this course has potential but upkeep is lagging. Amenities, like water in between 9's should have been supplied. No coolers to be seen. not a single ball washer at a tee box as far as I remember. My guess is because you may have a captive audience due to vacationers staying local the course doesn't try that hard. I drove from Watercolor so was disappointed I didn't find something closer.

August golf so I didn't expect it to be perfect but to charge $75 to play greens that were unmanageable is unacceptable. I played to the greens then picked up because they had put so much sand and pebbles out it was unplayable. Simply needs to be closed or charging much less. I will try the course again but disappointed in management choices.

Tee to green an amazing course. I understand the greens were punched a week or so ago. They sanded the greens yesterday morning per the staff. Pebbles and small rocks everywhere on the greens. You could not even putt most of the greens. For a resort course you would think the sand used on the greens would be free of rocks and debris. Stay away for at least another week or so. Not worth the money to play.
