Links at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Played this course a year ago and the course, specifically greens, was in much better shape. Slightly disappointing but nevertheless an enjoyable experience. Greens had some dead spots but still rolled true, albeit it slower than most. Overall great experience, don’t let the course conditions deter you as it is still very playable and enjoyable.

Had a great round of golf on a gorgeous July 4th morning. From check in to tee off to check out all staff were wonderful. Beautiful course and very well maintained. Greens were on par!!! Would love to play another round here.

Awesome layout with several holes right on the bay! Greens were a little fuzzy but great value for vacation golf!

I was expecting to pay a lot of golfing in Destin but this course wasn’t worth it. The staff wasn’t too friendly and the course tee boxes and greens were in rough shape. Fairways were fine but you’re mostly paying for the awesome views the course has to offer. Club rentals were pricey for some beat up callaways too.

Course was in great condition. Views were nice and greens rolled true. The older man in the clubhouse was great as was the marshal can’t say the same for the younger fella in charge of carts.

Nice course, good fast greens. But lots of water on over half of the holes.

Conditions were very good, just a couple of tee boxes that weren’t in the best shape. Some of the bunkers had hard packed sand, but the holes were beautiful, especially 9 and 14 on the bay. Didn’t have to wait at all. Amenities lack if you aren’t staying at the resort. Very friendly staff, would definitely play here again.

This course is great for anyone. It is one of my favorites. It is always in great shape and I love how the front nine has sole great views of the bay.

The links is a beautiful course with a few holes on the bay. It’s a tough course though requiring precision and control. Lots of iron play. Great conditions overall but the tee boxes were pretty rough. Overall I’d play it again but I’d work on my iron game first.

Fun course, plenty of challenges around Choctawhatchee Bay

We like the course. The only issue was that we were sent out as a twosome as the person they were pairing with us didn't show, and they had sent out a five some ahead of us which we didn't realize until we reached the third tee. I called the pro shop from the third tee and he said yes they do send out fives every hour. He said they were 2 minutes behind at that point and he would send them a message to pick it up. We didn't notice any improvement. I just don't see why you would allow a 5. You could have sent them out as a three and a two back to back. We wouldn't have been adverse to wait another 10 minutes to get started. Why wouldn't you tell the 5 to hold up and let a 2 play thru? We watched them tee off every hole.

Super fun course. Loved the links-style play and greens were plush, albeit a lil slow. Definitely going to play this course next time I stay in the Sandestin area.

I played with my son and we were paired with another couple. they were beginners so pace of play very slow but the course and the staff were great. we will be back next year
