The Links Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. The architect, Tom Jackson, routed five holes along the bay and then wound the course inland across rolling undulations. In order to prevail against the blustery Gulf Coast winds, accuracy and proper club selection are essential, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. In addition to being right along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the Baytowne Marina serves as a backdrop to the course, providing even more stunning views of the Emerald Coast. Of the four championship golf courses that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers, the Links is one of the original two and also one of the most popular. The layout offers a unique links experience that all skill levels can enjoy, especially since it features four different sets of tees.

Fun round

Two of us played and the Links was pretty busy as we finally got a break in the weather. The course was in pretty decent shape for January. We played as a foursome and got around in 4 hours and 10 minutes which is terrible. Had a good time. Golf Now is definitely the way to go as most of the courses in Destin have gotten pretty pricey.

Disappointed is an understatement. The staff was not friendly, I showed up 40 mins early for my 10:10 tee time and they had overbooked it and told me they could squeeze us in at 9:40 which was right then. They stacked all the tee times so close there were at least 3 groups on one hole at a time. Many of the club members were rude while playing. Needless to say we played 9 instead of our 18 holes and took out business elsewhere. Unfortunately we overpaid for such a terrible experience. Would not recommend.

Beautiful, Challenging, rewarding

The course is a beauty. My friends and I booked an early tee time but the cold weather froze the ground and the staff professionally adjusted all tee time for the day. They let us in early to enjoy the warm pro shop, and watch some football ore-game shows. Once we were let onto the course we were met with excellently kept greens and a beautifully sculpted course. Well worth the money, and the pace of play was perfect for the 3 of us. Best Iron game I had since picking up golf was played on this course.
