Raven at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Paid $170 for an early afternoon tee time. I had not played here before, but I noticed a lot of other local courses ran deals in the afternoons due to heat. This course did not, so I was expecting it to be a step above the other courses in the area I had played, but it was not. Pace of play was brutally slow (we played in exactly 5 hours) and there was no one on the course monitoring pace of play that I noticed. The course itself was a fun track...not too difficult with a few tougher holes out there. Probably not one I will return to from a value perspective.

From the staff who receives your bag before check in to the starter who pairs you up with a group and sends you off to the first tee you are fully informed and prepared for your round the clubhouse attendant TATA was very pleasant and informative the practice range is very well maintained and the pace of play was great

There was a 6 playing and 5 people playing and the pace of play was awful two days in a row. We played just 8 holes today due to pace of play it was to slow to enjoy.

Played with 3 players who loved golf pace of play was great never waited or had anyone behind Greens had recently been sanded but we’re still very playable large variety of holes made it interesting

Greens were recently sanded but otherwise course was great was paired 3 other people who made the experience even more fun Will definitely play again

First time playing The Raven. Very playable and enjoyable course with nice variety of holes. Better golfers can be challenged from the back tees. Tee boxes and greens were in good condition, traps can use work, most need more sand. Pace of play was excellent, staff were pleasant. There is a small outside seating area for drinks and food, no grill room. Highly recommend for a visiting, vacationing golfer.

Greens were super slow, and pace of play was not monitored at all. Waited for atleast 5 mins on every tee box and greens to clear. Course was in decent shape though, just needed to cut the greens down to up the speed.

Course was in fantastic condition. Greens well kept, pace was good. Course design had some interesting challenges without trying too hard to be gimmicky. Very friendly staff. Good pro shop selection. Would play again

Beautiful course. Wide fairways but water is in play on a number of holes. Greens were still recovering from aeration which we knew ahead of time.

I read several reviews on course, I experienced some of the similar issues, bunkers were very inconsistent, greens were just ok but they had been aerorated around the first of month, so you have to expect time to heal. The seat on my cart had a big rip on it and every time I got in it would scratch my leg, very unacceptable for a golf course charging these rates. The guy at front desk was not very inviting just name and tee time is all he ask. Not welcome glad you’re here or anything close. The starter was not friendly at all, no information giving about coarse was provided, again name and tee time. I will not play this course again when visiting I understand there are other courses in the area that would be joyful to play. Please do not play this course.
