About
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers four 18-hole, championship courses designed by three renowned architects. Raven Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., was carefully carved through marshes, native wetlands, and towering pine forests. Jones created a layout that is hailed for being both modern and traditional. It is also notable for how it seamlessly flows into the surrounding nature. The golf course offers plenty of variety both in shot options and visual scenery. The diverse holes are accented by dramatic changes in color and texture throughout the landscape. Water comes into play frequently and there are a number of strategically placed sand traps. Golfers are presented with a myriad of different ways to play each hole, which means thoughtful strategy is a necessity. The golf course's large, undulating greens also make proper club selection essential.

Course was very nice. Geeens super slow. Didn’t care for that. Food at the turn was terrible! Definitely needs attention. Starter not friendly and no clubhouse.

Super duper!!
Love this course...Pete Dye designed a gem! This is my favorite course in the San Destin area. The tee boxes are grassy and even, the course layout is tight and a challenge and the greens are smooth for a public course. Maintenance crews have shown they are on anther level in the area. This course level is expected in a vacation spot. Other courses prove they are not up to the task! I didn't like the cart path only and not being able to hit range balls,, but after heavy rains it is anticipated. Great course!

Good greens, smooth , not very fast. Not much elevation change, but mounds and depressions make it interesting.
cart guys took my cart, beer , and scorecard before I could get my wallet and keys out of my bag, but they , at least , went back to get the card..

Really enjoyed this course. Played early in the morning on a Thursday in February. Course was in really good shape and no issues with pace of play. Booked a GolfNow “hot deal” tee time.. Pricey without the hot deal but so it goes in the area. Looking forward to playing again.

Raven Is a must play
This course is well maintained has most interesting set of holes. Putting it on #6 the island green is always satisfying

Best course at Sandestin
Have played all 3 public access courses here over the years during February & Raven is consistently in the best condition. Do need to be aware of wet areas in green approaches so frequently need to take an extra club for approach shots. Outdoor eating area unfortunately is dominated by cigar smokers. Range balls are provided but are poorly cleaned. Bring a damp towel as towels are not provided on carts.
