About
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers four 18-hole, championship courses designed by three renowned architects. Raven Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., was carefully carved through marshes, native wetlands, and towering pine forests. Jones created a layout that is hailed for being both modern and traditional. It is also notable for how it seamlessly flows into the surrounding nature. The golf course offers plenty of variety both in shot options and visual scenery. The diverse holes are accented by dramatic changes in color and texture throughout the landscape. Water comes into play frequently and there are a number of strategically placed sand traps. Golfers are presented with a myriad of different ways to play each hole, which means thoughtful strategy is a necessity. The golf course's large, undulating greens also make proper club selection essential.

Course Good; No water or beverage carts
Course was in decent condition. Main complaint is that there was no water for the first 6 holes (fountain on 7), no beverage cart, and only a hut at the turn. Apparently there is only one beverage cart for all of Raven. Unacceptable to have been this hot and humid out and the course doesn’t have water at least every other hole… Will not be playing this course again - at least in the summer.

Very Challenging course
Very challenging course. Course was in excellent condition. For the amount of money though that you pay you would hope that they would have water available out on the course. Other courses we played out the same week in Florida had water available. It was 95° with the heat index of 103. When we stopped at the turn to get snacks we were rushed and told to keep up pace with the group in front of us however the four behind us have not even caught up to us yet.. overall we enjoyed our round of golf.

Great time on a great course
Totally enjoyed playing this course. Greens weren’t terribly fast but seemed to roll true. Course was challenging for this 12 handicapper but amazing to play. Beautiful course and staff was friendly and helpful. Got paired up with three great guys from MS and that just topped off the day perfectly.

One of the best courses in the Destin area
I have played this course the last two years. I would play this course each time I travel to the Destin area. The course is challenging and requires the ability to place your shots. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Can't wait for my next chance to play this course.

Great course for the money. Friendly staff, both in the pro shop and on the course with the cart drinks and the snack shack. Would definitely play again

Bumpy greens
Slow and bumpy greens. $130 for aerated greens is a little ridiculous. Guys behind us hit into us 4 times for no reason since we had no where to go in front of us. Same thing happened last time at Baytowne.
