Raven at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Long. Challenging Great condition. Fairways are perfect. First class operation.

I would rate this course higher because the layout is fantastic and it could be really nice. However, the greens were punched recently and it was still the same price (and I was not told beforehand that the course would be in this condition). Try something else if you are looking to play out here, not worth the risk and $100+!

I really enjoyed the layout. You have to think your way around this course. You can take driver off most tee boxs, however, you better have nerves of steel. Greens rolled true, not slow, not fast, and very well manicured. I’ll be back. Best value in the area…and I’ve played them all.

Played while vacationing about 20 minutes away in Watercolor. Course was in excellent condition, greens were in great shape. Staff/starter were friendly, check in was easy, practice area stocked with free range balls for a good warmup (not that one needs much "warming" up in July!). Beverage cart came by frequently. Overall, zero complaints and would certainly recommend. Island par 3 6th hole was a highlight.

I would start with saying this is a nice course. I would also say the greens were sanded, the driving range was closed when we arrived for maintenance. Also, at the turn there was no food available and the bathrooms were locked. The only thing that was mentioned when we arrived at the course was the driving range was closed for maintenance. Never did someone mention about the greens or the bathroom closed, nor were there any discounts for any of the above mentioned. Furthermore the only available military discount is for active duty only. Where I do believe this is a good thought of a discount, but what about the retirees that gave up the majority of their adult lives to defend this great country that we live in!

Staff greathotter than blazes, but to be expected in July in Florida. Some bold par fours. I hit a fair to middlin’ driver and there were a few holes par fours i still had work to do to reach, 18 comes right to mind. Ripped a driver, five hybrid which I thought was perfect. Green side bunker short left. Most courses I play I only his hybrid/3-4 irons off the tee unless a par five, used them plenty today.

Design is fun, all kinds of different shots to be had, and between four of us, we had them all. Fairway great, rough not too punishing, good pace. Will be back.

Great course with lots of distance & challenge for any golfer. Pace of play was steady and we finished 18 holes in about 4 hrs. Starter Jerry gave us insight & lots of information to make our round very enjoyable. Cart refreshments were available and priced fairly. All in all a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning playing an awesome golf course!

Teed off with another single in the rain for the first 7 holes. Stayed under my umbrella and kept the grips dry. The course was in great shape, rough only for carts, but that’s no big deal. Greens were true and quick only slowed by the rain. Avoided one wet spot on a green due to rain but other then that i have only good things to say.

I always try to play Raven when in town. My only “complaint” is that residual sand from either aeration or simple top dressing was present on the greens. They rolled pretty smooth, but seemed slow.

Top 5 course I've ever played and I've played Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay & TPC Sawgrass was in great condition all around loved the layout!!

Course was in great shape. The pace of play was the fastest I’ve ever had. We were on #13 before we ran into our first group and that was at the 2 hour mark. Even after running into the group in front we still finished in about 3:30.
