About
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers four 18-hole, championship courses designed by three renowned architects. Raven Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., was carefully carved through marshes, native wetlands, and towering pine forests. Jones created a layout that is hailed for being both modern and traditional. It is also notable for how it seamlessly flows into the surrounding nature. The golf course offers plenty of variety both in shot options and visual scenery. The diverse holes are accented by dramatic changes in color and texture throughout the landscape. Water comes into play frequently and there are a number of strategically placed sand traps. Golfers are presented with a myriad of different ways to play each hole, which means thoughtful strategy is a necessity. The golf course's large, undulating greens also make proper club selection essential.

5 some in front of us!!!
Prime time on a friday...fill course and they put 5somes out in front of us...unacceptable!!! Should only do that if not busy...also, cart area was totally confusing..not knowing who checked in or not, giving carts out to single riders in a 4some, etc...need to coordinate better with pro shop..

Great Golf Course
This course is very well maintained, scenic and challenging, especially from the back tees. Plenty of water, but not so difficult that it made the round miserable. Lots of variety with plenty of sand, too. Greens true and smooth, but not too fast.
The only negative was that we got backed up and it took 4:30 to play. I think this was an unusual day there and would not stop me from going back.

Played for the second time this month. Same great course, same great experience. You are good enough to play this course. Looking forward to playing again next January when we return to FL!

Good Day at Raven
Always good time, good conditions, and good challenge. Wish there was another set of tees more suited for Seniors between the 5060 and 5823 yardages.

Winter Play
We were prepared for a wet course after three days of rain and dip in temp. However, disappointed to be told at time of check-in that the range was closed and the. To be told by the starter that hole 16 was closed and other provisional conditions—seems that could have been shared at time of making the reservation
We had a great outing and very much enjoyed the course and the staff

Nice course
I’ve golfed the Raven a few times and the course is always top notch. The beer is always ice cold. The staff is always friendly. Lisa was very kind and made it around 4 times! Unfortunately there was two foursomes ahead of us and somehow they managed to carry on a cooler full of beer. It’s not right that people smuggle beer on the course when it’s only $4 a can from Lisa, which deprives her of a sale and tips. Man up golfers! Overall it was a beautiful day and STILL managed to miss too many shots, haha!

Greens could be faster. Might have been stimping about 6.
Ranger could speed up play.

Golf the best!
We had a rain storm the day before so the course opened at noon today. Just fortunate that my tee time was at 12 o’clock. After gathering a foursome at the first tee I proceeded to enjoy one of my best rounds of golf of the winter season here. Of the 15 or so different golf courses that I was fortunate to play so far this year in the Panhandle, The Raven at Sandestin was absolutely in the best shape, even despite the heavy rain the day before. Could be that The Raven staff is gearing up for the Kornferry tour which will be played here in June but regardless, the greens were absolutely perfect and the fairways were green and lush. Regarding the sand, I was able to get up and down on 3 out of my four green side bunker shots; the sand had already dried up enough overnight to be above average! For February I was really impressed. This was not my least expensive round of golf but I was happy to shoot a nice score on arguably the best course on the Emerald Coast!

Disappointed
It was 43 degrees raining and cart path only. The attendant told me it was miserable out and i should contact your company for a refund. I spent all morning trying to contact your company NO ONE helped no t on the phone or the chat services. I am very disappointed I spent 178.65 and could not play or get any help.Please give me a response
