About
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers four 18-hole, championship courses designed by three renowned architects. Raven Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., was carefully carved through marshes, native wetlands, and towering pine forests. Jones created a layout that is hailed for being both modern and traditional. It is also notable for how it seamlessly flows into the surrounding nature. The golf course offers plenty of variety both in shot options and visual scenery. The diverse holes are accented by dramatic changes in color and texture throughout the landscape. Water comes into play frequently and there are a number of strategically placed sand traps. Golfers are presented with a myriad of different ways to play each hole, which means thoughtful strategy is a necessity. The golf course's large, undulating greens also make proper club selection essential.

A must play golf course
This golf course is one of the nicest one in the area. The staff are also wonderful, especially the starters named, Bruce and Bob they are both very accommodating. Highly recommended!
Pace of play
4h50 minutes to play 18 holes😡driving range close because of rain 🤷♂️
Fairways and greens good
Golf cart paths need repaving, many ruts in the concrete. Golf cart old and break barely worked very worn. Pace of play slow, with group in front not keeping up with group in front of them. No staff on the course concerned with pace of play.
Great course and in good condition after summer heat
Really enjoyed playing the course.
Greens were fairly quick, and they ran true and were a delight to putt on.
Fairways in good order - a few bare patches and a few wet holes.
Some players forgot to use the sand to repair their divots which is a pity as fairway conditions generally really good. No need for spikes but one player in the group in front of us had them and scuffed the greens up - not necessary.
Raven golf
Nice layout with lush fairways and large greens that are receptive to good shots; only negative were greens could be faster altho lack of rain may prevent cutting greens too short.

Very nice people, good golf course and beautiful place to play.
Great Track
I suspect they are overseeing as greens need to be cut but what a great layout.
Poor Condition
The course has a great layout and has been very well maintained in the past. I was really disappointed in the course conditions, particularly the greens. For what they charge I would expect greens that aren’t 20% weeds, and one green was 4 paces from the flag to the rough in 3 directions. I’ve never seen a green that narrow.
Best of Sandestin courses
Raven in decent condition, but starting to show signs of neglect. Baytowne in terrible shape, greens close to being lost and may need to be replaced if someone doesn’t get on top of situation.
Raven Golf
Course is a great layout and fairways/bunkers were in great shape. Pace of play was slow.
Disappointed in the greens, which were top dressed with sand and was told, when I asked about it, that they are always that way. Tees were good in good shape either.
Sanded greens
Beautiful course
They should really tell you at booking that they sanded the greens the night prior, and maybe not charge full pop when it’s not 100%
Other then that great track, wish I could of experienced the greens

Really good shape with nice greens. Definitely will be back.
