Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Starter could have done a better job

Course was well worth it for the money here in Destin. Starter sent a single with us to make a 4some, then we got passed within first 6 holes by 2- 2'somes, a 3-some and a single. Pro-shop sent the starter out and said we're slow... I said of course we are... You could have done a better job. Greens were in good shape and rolled nice. Enjoyed it all together other than the 5.5 hr round

Rough Back 9

The front 9 holes could have been rated a 4; but the back 9 holes were no better than a 1.5. I think it was the 15th hole that basically had a sand trap on the green. The green was exceedingly worn, and there was a rip on the right side of the green as one approached that was exposing a green, sandy substance that was dug up as well. Tee boxes and greens were in need of serious upkeep/maintenance and repair. I wouldn't play this course again without some sign that necessary repairs and maintenance have been performed.

EB is a fun track to play. Sometimes I think it’s overpriced at $120+ , but whatever the market bears. Good greens. We had cart paths only due to rain, and no yardage markers on the course. Not a problem if you can drive to your ball. Overall it’s a decent course for the area.

Tough Track

Regatta Bay is a very challenging golf course that requires accuracy and patience. Worth playing. It’s a value at $100. Clubhouse and pro shop areas are nice. The range is marginal. Staff seemed friendly.
