About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Horrible Round
Pace was slow, the starters were just slotting in golfers to fill gaps, very confusing communications. Tee boxes were nasty. Dangerous design on hole 17 tee, golfers need to walk across slate rocks on an incline.. pace was sooo slow

A little overpriced
Course layout is grreat! Most greens were in great shape but not all. Views were nice but for the price you pay they’re better maintained course's in the area. It’s more in line with $60-$80 range

Emerald Bay
I am a winter resident and play Emerald Bay 3-4 times/week from January through May. Also off and on the rest of the year. Course is always in reasonable good shape inspite of weather. Fun course. 5 sets of tees for all levels. Great pro shop. Lunch is good but wish they had a restaurant so owners could eat dinner.

Great Friday for golf
Course was in ok shape. For $$$ expected a little better. Greens ran pretty true and reasonably fast. Fairways a little thin in spots. Pace was ok, not great. Layout ok not great. Typical for courses around here, trees and a good amount of water in play. Weather was pretty decent. Overall, I could play again, but not top of the list for here

Great Day
Had a great day playing golf on vacation. Course was laid out nicely with only one green kinda rough. People were very nice and helpful which really helps when traveling. Can't wait to return for another round!!!

Needed Marshall’s on weekends
Played Monday with no Marshall’s and no problems with few players. Friday we were backed up after 3 holes. Kept getting worse wit you to 10 minutes with 5 groups on a par 5. Marshall’s could have sped up play. We gave up after 9 holes and got a refund.

Great coarse play on vacation
This was our first time to play here.. I will definitely be back. I gave five stars because I would not want to lower the rankings. However, if they could change one thing, the cart GPS alerts were very annoying. There is no reason to remind everyone on every hole to fix their divots, and to stay off paved streets that the cart path clearly crosses. I know it’s a small thing, but it was constant throughout the round. The staff was very friendly. The course was great and the greens were good.

Poor Conditions
Really liked the layout but the tee boxes and greens were in very poor condition. Not worth the money I paid
