About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Bring balls
This course was in great shape despite days of rain leading up to our round.
My only complaint would be the VERY tall grass lining the water on most holes. I lost several balls that we were SURE where they landed.
Great range. Super friendly staff. Food was on point ( great large hot dogs...4 dogs with chips..$38. Beers were $4 ) Speed of play was good despite having a single playing 2 balls chasing what looked like 6-7 members in front of us....All told 4.5hrs. Look for deals. I had out of state visitors so I didn't have the luxury of waiting...We got it at $125 all in per player and will going back...
Did I mention to bring balls..?
We played from the II tees and had all we could in challenges as a scratch and three 14s. Birdies are possible but you must find the fairway. Rough was 2-4 inches and very consistent other than the waters edges. Have a spotter on ALL holes. Our low score was 81 and he lost 5 balls.....I lost at least 9 balls...4 of which I know.were in play but buried in grass....the one bunker I found was pristine and sugar soft...only Sandie on the card. so I'm not able to comment on any of the traps....worry about the water and the houses and good luck

Fun course
People waiting to get clubs out of my car. Filled my cooler up with ice. Free range balls were available. , nice chipping, and putting green.. fully stocked pro shop. Friendly staff from Marshall, pro-shop, and cart girl! Course conditions were very solid. Bermuda everything. Greens a bit slow for my liking but they were at least smooth and true pace of play is really good, partly because all of potential OB is marked with a clear red line so that players may just drop from where they may have have gone out otherwise. There are 5 choices of tee boxes to fit all skill levels. Fairways are generous for the most part. Enjoyed the day. We played the Ii tees which were 6600 and a 141 slope. I would say with everything playing. As a lateral hazard it didn’t play that tough. I lost two balls that normally could have inflated my score but didn’t die to red.

Tough course but a lot of fun
Playing here is a treat, nice range and putting greens to warm up, great carts and very nice staff. Course Pro Kevin is awesome. Clubhouse had some minor issues with their restrooms but other than that it was great. Course conditions were very good and this is a super challenging 18 holes with well maintained fairways and fast greens. Great course and one of my favorites in area

Worth the time
Well maintained laid out nicely. Played twilight 2-some. Finished in 3 hrs 45 minutes. Nice pace of play. Fairways and greens were in great shape.

Nice course
Nice course! Everything you would expect from a championship course. Didn’t feel crowded at all. Get there early to hit a few on the range. All set up and ready to go. Range included in price of the round. Greens roll true. Some a little slow but has been raining so I imagine it is hard to time cutting. Other than that great experience!!

Awesome time
Don’t playoff the fairways!!! Tough to chip with grass 4” tall. Other than that superb course!!! Great staff!! Nice driving range and put greens!!
