About
Located right along the water, Emerald Bay Golf Club was designed by Bob Cupp to be Destin's premier full-service, 18-hole championship course. Water is a prominent feature as the course overlooks the shores Choctawhatchee Bay and incorporates water features on 12 of the holes. Oftentimes golfers will face an intimidating shot across a lake or a pond. Emerald Bay Golf Club's sculpted fairways and tight greens are always in excellent condition. There are four sets of tees that make the golf course accessible to most players' abilities and no matter what skill level you are, the views are not to be missed. The views are especially breathtaking on the back nine, which borders the bay. There is also an expansive driving range at Emerald Bay that golfers can use before playing the golf course.

Poor Conditions
Really liked the layout but the tee boxes and greens were in very poor condition. Not worth the money I paid

Great course, greens were deceptively fast. Overall course conditions was an 8/10, with greens playing very true.

Course condition has deteriorated badly.
This is a very good course that has been allowed to become a poor course because of a lack of maintenance. Greens, fairways, traps, rough... All show badly compared to just six weeks ago when I last played Emerald Bay.

Very Nice and Professional
The staff was fantastic, the course in very good shape. Definitely worth the price as I got a "hot deal." But even at full price, I would not have been disappointed. The clubhouse was nice as well. Lots of water, bring extra balls!

Friendliest staff
This course was laid out beautifully and everyone was truly amazing. Morgan greeted us very cordially and loaded up the cart for us. Melissa took care of all our drink needs and even gave options for payment. The staff was very professional and helpful. I will definitely replay this course as soon as possible! Highly recommend this course over any in the destin area.

Great course for the money!
I visit Destin 3-5 times a year and always play here. The course is challenging and it very fun to play. The staff awesome and the carts are great as well!

Expected more
We booked based on the photo’s showing the holes on the water and unfortunately they were underwhelming. You had a view on your approach and also along a short par 3. Course conditions were ok and expected more for the fees.

Perfect day on a perfect course.
Arrived about an hour before tee time. Checked in with their great staff. Got our adult beverages at their bar; perfect hostess. Hit some balls, putted a few, hit the course having checked in with their informative starter. Had a blast on the course. Other than my score, zero complaints.

Very dry greens
The golf course was very very dry on the fairways and especially the greens. The greens did not roll very well at all. I was very disappointed I played this course several times and it was by far in the worst shape I’ve seen it.
Certainly wasn’t worth the green fees.

Not worth the money
For how much this course costed, I expected it to be a bit nicer. Just how I felt. Super sandy tee boxes and there were quite a few greens with some pretty brutal dead spots.
