About

Holes 18
Type Resort
Par 70
Length 6148 yards
Slope 125
Rating 69.0

The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on fifteen of the 18 holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

Very poor course.

Course conditions were in awful condition. Greens weren’t cut, and fairways weren’t taken care of too good. Staff was very friendly.

ESCAPE from Seascape

This was the worst $60 I have ever spent on a golf course. There is no grass on the greens and so many bare spots. This was extremely disappointing. I play lots of golf and this was by far the worst course shape I have ever seen and/or played. It should not be $60 to play… thinking more like free! The cart guys were very unfriendly. This is for sure a self service place.

Expected more

Recently in Panama City and chose this course because of price and playability. Didn't expect a top of the line course, but did expect it to be in better shape. Front nine tees and greens were in sad shape. Greens had little grass, mostly putting through a lot of dirt. No way to gauge any speed or break. Tees had very little grass at all. Back nine in better shape; in fact if whole course was in back nine shape it would have been worth the trip. Driving range grass was very poor. Only allowed to hit a maximum of 150 yards on range. Putting green was terrible. Staff was excellent friendly and helpful; no problem with them. Liked GPS on carts.

Don’t waste your money

I’ve played on some bad courses, but this was possibly the worst. The greens are horrid and unplayable. They’re burnt and mostly dried, curled up dirt and sand. At least half of the fairways are hard sand, impossible to take a divot. The tee boxes…lol, I’m not sure I’d call them that. My foursome quit after 9 holes. Spend a couple more bucks and play somewhere else. The clubhouse is rough with very little staff on hand and no starter. The only positive thing was the pace of play, but that’s because nobody else was out there playing. The locals know better.

Dying Course

This course has obviously been neglected for some time and just simply not taken care of. Almost every tee box and green is nothing but half grass and half dried up mud. The greens are almost all burned up and unputtable. The fairways are surprisingly in decent shape and the layout is quite open and enjoyable to play but I am not sure why the management has decided to leave the course to rot.

Terrible

You couldn’t pay me $60 to play this course again. The greens were terrible, mostly mud. Barely any grass in the tee- box, all of which pretty much sloped, so you were teeing off with an uneven stance. Brush was grown up everywhere. Pay the extra $100 to play somewhere else, or find a municipal course to play.

Golf before the Rush

The pro shop personnel were very friendly and helpful. The concession personnel were also friendly and courteous. However, the course needs a lot of attention. Fairways were pretty dry and what grass there was,, didn't play well. The greens were awful. A lot of burned up greens and bare ground.

Great course to get hammered on

If you’re a beginner then sure this is a good starting spot. If you’re not a beginner, don’t show up unless you plan on drinking a beer a hole with the boys. The original St Andrews course was probably in better shape when it open in 1895

Get what you pay for

Very average but for a warm up course or to get in a quick round $40 is cheap in that area. Great for beginners if you play a lot and want a very nice course not a place to go

Course Needs TLC

First of all, I knew what I was getting for my money. I'm coming off two-(2) shoulder replacements and have not played since my surgeries, hence, playing a 'tourist friendly' course. However, I couldn't believe how BAD the greens were. I've putted on smoother gravel roads! Fairways were pretty dry and lacking green grass. The folks in the Pro Shop and consession area were very professional and courteous. Golf cart was very nice. Caddieshack personnel were both very nice and professional. Course needs A LOT of TLC.
