Not the best quality but for the price a good value and fun course

Some Greens need some refreshing

First off, let me say I work golf course maintenance. The employees were great. Course layout was great. Great location. Course conditions were sad. Either the course superintendent doesn’t know what he’s doing or their maintenance budget is super low. By the looks of the course, my guess is they put no money into course maintenance. With that said, it’s not a $60-$70 course. Good luck.

We arrived early to use the putting green. The course had two tee times that were NO shows. Our entire group was there but the starter let the tee go empty for a long while. Then a threesome show up, and then two of their friends, both later tee times than us. The starter was completely infuriating as he kept saying well this is Florida golf, you need to understand. No I don’t need to understand, golf etiquette should always prevail. We did not get on the tee at our tee time (which we paid a premium for) we were 29 minutes late, and the starter let a group of 4 go in front of us. Worst experience at a golf course ever.

The layout is very interesting, water obstacles are placed. The greens need a lot of care, very irregular and a lot of bare spots

Expect very little when you are paying $39 including a cart. Most of the greens are in terrible condition and I feel like I am playing in the farmer’s field. Very dry backed up golf course. Staff is very good which make it good! If you want to pay Rock bottom prices and get a pretty bad course, then this course is for you!

Good value for the Money, staff pleasant , course in good shape for this time of year

They are not putting any money into course because they are going to tear it down.

Friendly place to play a relaxing round with strangers.

I selected this course for the value but everything about it was way better than I anticipated. From the time we arrived, we were greeted in the parking lot by staff who put the clubs in the cart for us. The gentleman who worked in the pro shop was also super friendly. The starter got us on the course 15 minutes earlier than our scheduled tee time.

The pace of play was outstanding! The course condition was WAY better than I expected after reading some poor reviews. The greens were outstanding and made putting very easy. The pin placement made the course even more challenging. The fairways had the most under repair areas but all of the sand traps were perfectly raked and ready to play.

Some of the reviews I saw on GolfNow all seemed to have the "you get what you pay for" mantra. I'm not interested in paying $150 for a round of golf so I took a chance on this course and was very pleased with what I got for less than a third of many of the other courses. I highly recommend this course for any other travelers to the area. This would be a mainstay course for me if I lived in the Destin, FL area..

Currently the course is in poor condition, Greens have lots of bare spots. Tee boxes and fairways patchy and thin. Nice staff. Back nine has some interesting holes. Probably wont return.

The course itself is in pretty rough shape. However it’s a good course for someone who is new to the game and just wants to come out and not have the pressure to move out of the way. Staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. My wife is new to the game and we were able to play a quick round with little anxiety. She really appreciated it and want to go back.
