Great course, terrible clubhouse
The course was fun, just hard enough to make it interesting withoutt being overwhelmed. Employees were all very nice. The shock for me was walking into the clubhouse and feeling like it was the ‘70s. Decor was very dated. The bar are was incredibly underutilized. Could be a great place to hang out if they upgraded a bit. Also, the kitchen closes at 3! Terrible!
Great Time at Indian Bayou!
On vacation in Destin, and this was our first time to play this course. My 11 year old son and I had a wonderful time, and we were very impressed with the course and layout. All the staff was super friendly from the very moment we pulled up to unload our clubs. Great range and practice area. The greens were receptive and fast! Fairways were well cared for and rough wasn’t too deep. I would definitely recommend playing this course!
Absolutely Coming Back
From the second we stepped onto Indian Bayou, the staff was there to greet us and take our backs. Check in was a breeze. Proshop was dated, but had a great selection. Range balls come with round. The range was WET....Soaked. Probably the most negative about the day. Course was immaculately kept and super fun with generous fairways and somewhat generous greens. We played morning so after the dew dried up, the greens rolled very true. Did see a gator when I got close to a pond (so be careful). Overall, absolutely impressed and will be back when visiting the area.

Great course!
Tight but not unforgiving. Greens were just sanded, but roll good. They’ll be great in a month or two. Friendly staff too!

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The course was in great condition and is a beautiful course.
Rocky Bayou is a great alternative to more expensive Destin Courses
It’s a little removed from Destin but I really enjoyed the layout and overall experience. Greens were in great shape. Would recommend it.
Great experience
Took my Dad here for his birthday. He loved it. It was my second time playing it. The layout is my favorite in Destin. I would pick this course first to play again while in Destin above the 2 other more expensive courses I played.
