Indian Bayou Golf Club

The course is in great condition in all aspects: greens, fairways, traps, tees, etc. The practice areas were really nice and well maintained.

The GPS on the carts worked well and was very helpful.

The course was so nice and so enjoyable that we played 4 times last week (M, W, T, F).

A very great course, challenging and fun, very little water, super soft bunkers. Only "complaint" would be the 60s Vegas vibe of the clubhouse which has nothing to do with the course. I'd definitely play again.

First time playing this course and I was super impressed. The staff was very nice and the course was in great condition. My favorite part were the greens by far. They were super fast which took some getting used to but very true and in my opinion resembled greens of a PGA course.

The greens were in great shape, fairways too, and the staff were very accommodating.

Staff was wonderful , bag attendant and restaurant I received excellent customer service. Layout was fun nothing exciting very classic north Florida golf. Fairly flat surfaces with raised greens, greens weren’t too large and the bunkers are set quite away from the putting surfaces typical resort style bunkers. Overall the conditions of the course were very good, very few weeds nothing but healthy Bermuda around the putting surfaces. Greens weren’t fast but also not slow and they held their lines very good they had recently verti cut them and top dressed which helps with grainy Bermuda . Bunkers are well maintained and not too deep. Fairways and teeing areas were in excellent shape freshly cut and healthy. Practice tee and green were in great shape with new golf balls. I did not see a beverage cart but to be fair there wasn’t much traffic on the course to demand that. Clubhouse had some pretty good options for shirts and hats also.

We play Baytown down the road and the greens were HORRIBLE. IB greens were on point! Staff was super friendly! Thanks all!

Course was in great shape and offered a number of stunning views on the mostly-secluded holes. This track will not beat you up as you’re generally hitting to wide fairways from ample tee options with few forced carries. Best part was the course was not largely surrounded by houses. Very nice!!! This review is from a 19 handicap club golfer.

Indian Bayou was fantastic. The course was in great shape and the greens rolled incredibly true. From the moment we arrived, the staff was great and made for an excellent day. Destin has many solid and challenging courses, and Indian Bayou should be considered among the best. We were able to get one of the daily Hot Deals, which made the round even better. I can't recommend this course enough.

Maybe if i didnt remember playing indian bayou for $40 i wouldn't mind $100+. Improvements have been made and we had a great day!!

Bought the special tee time rate for early afternoon. Nice driving range with balls already there. Putting green was nice. No starter. Saw no other groups ahead of us all day, pace of play great. Played blue/white tees a little short but I’m on vacation and wasn’t trying to be a hero. No gimmicky holes, just solid layout with few blind shots and nice smooth tiered greens. Would play again for sure. Only found water near bathroom on back 9 so bring a lot for yourself.

After having been stationed in the area over 10 years ago and playing most courses in the area I found this one on a hot deal. Absolutely perfect conditions and staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
