This course was long but fair.
Paired up with three great guys one a local who made it easier for a first time player here. Course long for me at average 200 yards driving. But most holes still very playable and reachable. Water and sand hazards are there but not too much even for a Midwesterner like me. Greens fast. Fun challenging course. Will definitely play again.
Nice course
The aeration of the greens wasn’t complete so they were shaggy, uneven and didn’t roll great. Overall the course was in good condition. Tighter fairways but good design overall
Great Condtions
Played several courses in the area this week. This place had the cheapest green fees but blew the other courses away in terms of course conditions. Greens rolled slightly slower than I would have expected but were true.
Beautiful, well maintained course.
It looks to be pretty easy but don't be fooled. Rough was dry so the ball would disappear. Knowing where the water is will make a difference.
This is a really nice well maintained course that needs to be played more than once to be fully enjoyed. I plan to go back on my next beach trip.
Great layout
This is a great course to play. Greens and fairways in great shape. Well worth the fee. Will play every time I'm in Destin. You won't be disappointed.
Great course and price!
The course was damp from the recent rain, so it played longer than it should have. The greens and fairways were in great shape though. The clubhouse is very nice, and the staff was outstanding. I'll definitely play the course again the next time I'm in the area.
Great experience all around.
The staff were all friendly starting with the pro shop. Then someone saw me coming in and asked me which vehicle I drove and had a cart waiting on me when I walked back after checking in. The starter was a nice guy and the cart girl had a good personality and cold drinks. The course was fantastic. Nice grass throughout the course and especially smooth full greens. The rough, starting on the edge of the fairway, is a few inches high and thick so a miss is most times a lost ball which is the only downside to the course. It is a great course. I played it and liked it so much I played it again the next day and I always like to play different courses when on vacation.
Good, playable course
I enjoyed playing at Indian Bayou. The staff was friendly, and the course was good for me as a 18-20 handicap player.

Loved it
when we showed up to play, we were informed that the front 9 was closed and we would have to play the back a second time.
That was so much fun. we kind of made a game out of trying to improve on out hole to hole score.

Indian Bayou - Destin
Really enjoyed this course. Very challenging but don't have to be an avid golfer to enjoy but tough enough to challenge a seasoned golfer.
