Very dry
The whole property was very dry apparently because all of the ponds were drained to repair a pipe that connects the ponds and seems to be the source of irrigation water.. All turf areas were dormant including the greens. The greens were very fast and true but very dry. Given those conditions the rates should have been discounted..
great greens and pace
For Feb the course was in good condition. The fairways were good the rough was thin but that is winter golf. The greens were in excellent shape and the pace of play (we played early) was excellent. It was a solid round of golf, more of an old school course
Great track
While visiting the area, i stopped into Edwin Watts for a few things and asked what would be a good course to play for a 10 hcp. This was it and it didn't disappoint. Great staff, driving range and layout.
Repair project.
The course is an excellent layout but in early February it is very dormant. The retention ponds have been drawn down due to a repair to restore a under ground connector line near the clubhouse. The course probably isn’t being watered because of that and everything is brown including the greens. Not worth the price, try next year.
Super Friendly Staff, Nice Course, Semi - Private Course
My wife and I recently played and had the first tee time - 7:00 a.m. The starter asked us if we would allow a single member to tee off first. We said of course, the member said that he would be filling divots with sand but that he would not hold us up. Well guess what, the first hole and he is holding us up. On the third hold he comes and tells us that he was holding us up because he was aware at the pace of play and that he was pacing us? What telling us that he is setting the pace when there is no one ahead of us???? Really???? I respectfully disagreed with him. Finally, after the 5th hole he let us through.
Other than this bitter experience with the elderly member, the staff was super friendly and the course was enjoyable to play.

Awesome golf course, well maintained. Staff were awesome, especially the starter he was very accommodating. Highly recommended!
Great course
Awesome course but when it’s busy it’s tough to be behind folks that are walking . I’m all for walking a course but not when it’s stacked up
Good golf course, typical beachy layout, probably the second best greens in all of Destin behind Kelly plantation. Really good practice area.
