Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club
About
Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club in Dover, Florida stretches over rolling hills where there is no shortage of water. Dry greens are never a concern as water hazards come into play frequently throughout the golf course. The greens vary in speed from medium to fast and the fairways are lined with towering trees. In addition to the water, there are also numerous bunkers that are strategically placed throughout. The golf course has some challenging par 3s, especially if it is a windy day. With several holes playing over water and a few houses close to the golf course, well placed tee shots are essential to scoring well at Diamond Hill.

Good old track but not well maintained.
The course is dry and you will find lots of hard spots and dead trees that need attention but for the price it was ok. Greens were slow as they get a lot of old players it is understood.
Great day
Starter met us in the parking lot with a cart and it was all great going forward. We had a noon tee time and aside from a short wait at the turn we got done in 4 hours. The course was in good shape but seemed a little dry. This seems to be the case at all courses as we have had a dry season. The green fee is at the top of the range for conditions, but we would not hesitate to go back and probably will soon.
Lone Ranger
We had a 5 some in front of us and 3 holes open front of them by the time we got to the 9th hole.
We had a 3 some behind us that push us all day.
The ranger would ride by but not speed up play.
5 hour round of golf, slow even on a Saturday
value trap
any serious club golfer should avoid this place on weekends if you want to avoid 5-6 hour rounds. They book far too many duffers making this a family picnic outing with no sense of play, rules, courtesy or consideration for the course or other players.
For $32.00 travel a little further and enjoy your round
Nice Course
Nice course and will play again. I like the layout which includes some elevation changes. some short but challenging par 4's, and some very challenging par 3's.Greens were in good shape and reasonably fast. Fairways were ok and rough was in very poor shape. Had some bare lies in the rough. I would attribute the poor conditions in the rough and fairways to lack of rain this winter. I have played this course twice and both times the pace of play was slow (approximately 4.5 hours to finish the round both times). The first time was due to a slow and particularly loathsome forsum. The second time was due to a crowded course. Overall the course is very nice and we will be back.
Thank you for taking the time to give your honest review. Hope to see you out again soon!
good mix of hills, flats and contours. greens recently sanded.
Course has some interesting holes.
This is not a tournament course, but still a lot of fun to play. Greens were in very good condition.
Thank you for the good review, and the weekly play.
Thank you so much for coming out to play at our course. Hope to see you again soon.
This course is very good and good price. Will be back to play again.
Looking forward to seeing you again! Thank you for taking the time to make a review. Let us know the ways we can improve.
good to go early
We were the first group on the course, and I am glad for that. We played on a Monday. I have heard that if you wait later in the day (After 9am) it gets backed up quick. Greens are immaculate, tee boxes and fairways in good shape too. Staff was very friendly, even offered to take me back to my car when I was dropping off the cart.
Thank you for the detailed review. Hope to see you again!

Along drive 65 minutes but it's was it worth great layout I come back for sure
Thank you for taking the long drive out to our course. And thank you for taking the extra time to make this good review.
Nice course
Enjoyed the round. This course is within 10 minutes of home and is great value for money. Greens in nice shape. They are working on fairways but all in all are good shape. Will play again
First Timer
Have wanted to play this course for a long time, was very pleased with course. The lay out actually has elevation holes, greens were a little slow but was mowing as we played.
Thank you for the review, hope to have you out here again!
Thank you for the review, hope to see you again soon!
Played the course first time yesterday and found it in good condition. Too crowded though for a Wednesday and therefore slow.
The e-mail I received from GolfNow after booking online quoted the price as 2 x $33 plus $9.60 = $75.60, with $4.98 payable online, leaving $70.62 to pay at the course.
In fact we were charged 1 x $32 plus 1 x $35 + $4.69 tax = $71.69.
I don't really care about the $1.07 extra, but I don't understand why the course charged differently from the online booking???.
Please accept my apologies on behalf of the Diamond Hill staff. The standard golfnow rate rings up as $32. Sometimes this point of sale system will ring up different rates when checking in multiple people, and we have to manually change to the correct rate. It sounds like 1 standard $32 golfnow rate and 1 $35 regular rate (either weekday morning or weekend midday) were rung up at once. I will be sure to alert the staff to watch for this issue.
Thank you!

Not too shabby!
The condition of the greens were pretty rough and some of the fairways.... The rough was hard ground... overall not too bad! I'd play again, hopefully with a little better conditions!
Thank you for the review! Our course is in much better condition now, hope to have you playing here soon!
Fun
It's a fun corse to play. I've played it twice in one week.
If you like rolling hill this is a place to play " hills for Florida out side of Tampa "
The 2 bad parts
1 No ranger out on corse to keep the game moving
2 Lazy golfers not fixing there divits on fairway and greens.
A little better than I remembered
I haven't played here in a few years, the course is in better shape than I remembered. It was worth the drive to get here. I'm thinking of playing here are a little more often.
