Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club
About
Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club in Dover, Florida stretches over rolling hills where there is no shortage of water. Dry greens are never a concern as water hazards come into play frequently throughout the golf course. The greens vary in speed from medium to fast and the fairways are lined with towering trees. In addition to the water, there are also numerous bunkers that are strategically placed throughout. The golf course has some challenging par 3s, especially if it is a windy day. With several holes playing over water and a few houses close to the golf course, well placed tee shots are essential to scoring well at Diamond Hill.

going right back to the old Diamond Hill
I stopped going here over 10 years ago---came back about 2 years ago--things got better---but I hate to say --they are going backward. customer service /there is none/ the greens are in ruff shape. A cow pasture in the making. I will never go here again

Pretty course with some rolling hills (which you don't see a lot of in FL). Well maintained. Friendly staff and good food experience at the clubhouse..
This course is great, because it is wide open.
The course is wide open. So it makes it forgiving. They wrapped the course around some water and trees. We really enjoyed it.
Open Layout. Fun and Challenging.
A little rough around the edges but a fun course that is easy to get to right off I-4. Signature hole 15 par 3 elevated tee over lake.
improved from past years
Played this course over 20 period. This is the best it has been.
September 9, 2015
I have been paying this course on and off for many years. The new owner has put significant time and money into the course over the past two years and it shows. The course is in great shape, especially nice is the removal (and clean up of) of all of the lower branches on trees throughout the course and cleaning up the lakes. It makes for a much nicer round of golf!
Not worth the fee
The first hole conditions were great - the rest? Not so much. We felt rushed all day with people playing on top of us. Plus the course is designed in a confusing & unsafe way.
Good
Lightening was in play for a few holes but came back to play them later when it had cleared without issue other than league play started which I worked through. Greens were great. Overall nice course.
Good Course to play.
Couse was in great shape . All greens were in good shape. Staff extremely friendly, great round of golf. New owners putting money into club house and course.
july 4th
It was quite july 4th. We tee off at 8:00 and were done by 11:30. Course was in a great shape as long as you stay in the fairway. Always enjoy the lay out. The tee vox could use a little work. But over all was a very. Enjoyable round. .
Ok.....
Old Florida Muni in decent shape. This is by no means a destination course. Perhaps the slowest greens I've ever putted on. Good course for beginners.
Always Fun
Thanks to the courteous staff and fun course! Thanks as always
Fun day with my five year old son
My five years old and I had a wonderful experience. It was wide open and paired up with a single player. We enjoyed playing nine holes and the fairways were in good shape and the greens were great, thick, but little slow than normal greens. My five years played from 1,120 total yards and shot an awesome score of 44.
Good course, but need to do some insect control
Nothing wrong with the course its self...but the insects were so bad that any time you stopped your cat they were all over you, bothering you during every swing and putt...It was so bad I quit after only 7 holes...Need to spray or something
definite changes visible
I've played this course a number of times the last time I was very disappointed and haven't played in about a year ago,I was told that it's under new ownership and I can definitely see a difference especially with the greens. I've already recommended this course to a few people since yesterday.
Nice Layout,Poor greens
Nice course , very hilly terrain, fairways nice but almost every green needed attention . Good value though when booked on Golf now . Small pro shop/bar with very limited food , mostly snacks. Cold draft beer at fair prices , though.
Decent
Fairways nice, greens were decent. Holes are lacking imagination, a lot of just straight fairways. Pretty basic.
Getting better but frustrating.
While this golf course is getting better there are basics that the new ownership just does not get. For two weeks in a row now I have played there on Friday and the cups are so bad it looks as though you are putting into a thimble from only 8 feet away. Fairways are better, bunkers are better, tee boxes are improving as well. Why they do not change cups more than once a week is beyond me. So frustrating to always have to put to a cup that is rounded and grass is growing over the hole.
Wide open course, let the Driver go here
Course was not in great shape. Greens were slow and bumpy.
I am the new PGA Profesional at Walden Lake. We are working very hard at improving this wonderful course. I'd like to invite you out to experience our new golf school. Feel free to call me at 813.526.0044. I guarantee results!
