Course in fantastic shape!

One of the best around.

Disappointing! Definitely not one of the top 10 you can play in MA. 5.5 hour round and the only time I saw the ranger he was asking the cart girl to head to the 5th hole because his buddies were out of beer.

I was told beforehand by others that The Ranch was a great course...this was a gross understatement...I was checking for my obituary because I thought I'd died and gone to golf heaven. Never played anything quite like it because the likes of places like this course are beyond my means and I only get to watch them on television or I'm in some kind of a dream. Thanks for such a treat. I would recommend planning a trip out this way and play the multiple public courses that are in proximity to The Ranch...save this place for last to really impress yourself or others.

In town for work, and found a great deal on golf now. Well worth the $$. This course is challenging for all levels, and rewards the golfer for well placed shots. This is a shotmakers course, and the greens were in great shape! The course has a lot of heather, so make sure you bring enough balls. Friendly staff. Will definately play again when in the area.

1 and 10 start out as an open lynx type coarse with tall fescue and huge challenging greens.The bunkers are deep and soft. As you climb in elevation the layout changes to forest type but still with tall fescue and pot bunkers. The views of the distant mountains and hills are breathtaking.

The most groomed course around. Flat manicured tee boxes and amazing fairways to say the least. Fast and true greens that make other courses seem blah. Good assortment of short, medium and long holes. The holes have good separation so you feel miles away from other groups playing. Very picturesque!!! Every hole looks like a postcard!! Every hole has its own feel so you never feel as if you've played a similar hole earlier in the round. GPS touchscreen on carts as well as club and ball washer. The range has real grass, no mats to hit from. Putting and chipping area also has bunkers to practice from which is a huge bonus when warming up. Pace of play there always seems to be well above average and the staff is always helpful and welcoming. Overall a 11 out of 10 when it comes to value and enjoyment.

The weather was perfect, and playing golf with my son at The Ranch is a superb experience. There are few things in life better than a day at this course with a great kid! The course, the carts and the beauty of The Ranch are hard to beat!

The course is awesome--challenging and fun. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. we were allowed to go out as a twosome and enjoy the day. I would go back again and again.

The greens were very fast. They were not really green either. Like putting on glass

This is a fantastic layout and a great day fee facility.

Conditions were "private course" or better. The layout has a combination feel of a links course on early and finishing holes and a Mountain course on the interior. Wide open fairways early followed by elevation changes and tree lined level fairways on the top of the rise. I turly think this is one of the very best layouts in Western Mass including Taconic and by far the best day fee course. This is a must play for any serious golfer and worth a trip as a destination course.

1st time played, got T time on golf now.com, nice midweek price. A light rain fell on and off so it wasn't that busy which made for an enjoyable pace of play. The course set in the rolling hills of the pioneer valley has some scenic vistas. From a distance the club house complex could easily be the subject of a landscape artist. Conditions were good, however the fairways showed some wear of a busy season. Blind T shots, hidden greens and punitive geography seem to make this course challenging from any T box. As I played back down to the clubhouse through the last few holes I thought how the valley is filled with a variety of good fun courses. From the Crumpim fox up north to Hickory, Chucopee, Ledges in the central, the Springfield Muni's in the city and the Crests the Oak, St A's and Ranch in the south, just to name a few. Being somewhat new to the game (4th full yr) it's nice to not have to go to far to experience some fun, affordable, quality golf.

Course was in good condition even though there hasn't been much rain. Pace was a little slow (5 hr round) but that being said it was very busy because it was a beautiful fall day. Love playing at this course.

This is a terrific course which I enjoy immensely, but it has gotten heavy play , so there are lots of divots in the fairways, and the greens are in less than perfect shape as too many golfers have not repaired their ball marks. I played as a single, and it took 8 holes of waiting at every hole before the 4some in front of me invited me to play through.......with at least 3 holes open in front of them. Pro shop was great getting me out on the course 40 minutes earlier than my scheduled tee time from GolfNow.

Great layout with lots of variety allowing for use of all your clubs.

Not a great course but not bad. I wasn't blown away at the condition of the course vs other courses in the area for a third of the price. Liked the layout, and the it was a nice looking course. Greens rolled good and fair. Greens fees seem high on the weekend close to 100$ This is a 45-65$ course in my opinion.
