Aguila Golf Course

Carts were 90 degree rule.

We were very pleased with the conditions and layout of this city-owned course. Some holes are quite noisy from traffic on adjacent roads. No reason to avoid this course now that post over seeding has kicked.

I told the desk we had never played there and one of them was very helpful explaining the course and getting us a cart. She said some carts are on last legs and are being replaced soon. Indeed the other 2-some in our slot had their cart die midway through the back 9. It was promptly replaced by staff. I recommend walking or calling to see if they have new carts before playing here.

We played 4 other courses for the first time and this was one of our favorites.

This is a well-maintained course. And some tour qualifiers are played here.

different tee boxes for different skill leveis, I play this course 3 times a week and never get tired of it, beautiful fairways, perfect greens and a staff that is excellent and accomodating. The staff has been around for years which means good employers tend to keep good employees. This is the best public course in Az and I've played most of them

The course was in excellent shape. The greens putted true and in as in good as I have seen. The price for seniors is very reasonable, especially given the price of surrounding courses.

Aguila has become our favorite over the past two years. The playing conditions get better with each new season. They just came out of overfeeding for the Winter and the tee boxes, fairways and greens are in great shape.

A lot of work going on to trim back the landscaping. My prediction is this will improve the pace-of-play during the very busy Winter months.

Course staff are top notch and always fun to interact with. Get out there and play, you, too, will become addicted to this course.

I love Aguila Golf Course. Lisa and the entire staff are awesome. Best course in the entire valley for condition and value.

First time playing this course and our group was very happy with it. The greens and fairways were in great shape, staff were friendly and we finished in just over 4hrs, so the pace was great.

It was my first time playing this course and I really enjoyed it. It’s in really good shape. Fairways are nice and putting was very fair.

You will not find a better golf course in the Phoenix area for the price of Aguila. The golf shop staff are awesome. The starters are great. The course conditions are 2nd to none! You can easily pay 3-4 times more for golf courses that are no better than Aguila. Only complaint with Aguila is as a card holder you get 9 day booking which starts at 12 am, midnight! If you are not on right at 12 am good luck with a morning tee time. All gone by 12:02! Other than that this is an exceptional golf course

Course was nice and green after over seed. They were already allowing carts off the paths. The greens were already rolling nicely, not completely recovered, it seemed, but very close. All in all, this is one of the best, if not the best, value priced golf courses you will find in or around Phoenix, IMO. Nice scenery, fun, fair and interesting layout and conditions that always compare very favorably to similarly priced courses.

It’s a beautifully maintained course. We love playing this. It’s an amazing public course that is as good as any resort course.
