About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

Good Value
Never played here before. Heard decent things. Was expecting much worse for being a city course in Laveen but was surprised at the conditions for the price point. Decent fairway conditions and the greens were rolling quick. For the value I would return.

Third Time is a Charm
Starting to figure this place out. Looong from just about every tee. Fairways excellent, greens were ok with what looked to be a recent verticut. Aguila is now in my rota when visiting the valley. Excellent practice facility.

Great course for money
This course is in a good location to meet with friends from other parts of the Phoenix metro area. We have played it a few times now and enjoyed every round. Variety of tee boxes makes it playable for all ages and abilities of golfers. Greens roll true and are in good condition. Plenty of sand traps, water and other hazards yet course plays fair to reward good shots.

Very happy to find Aguila is an excellent muni course. Conditions are great now, greens were very nice, and the overall feel of the place was higher-end than most munis. Will definitely come back again!

Beautiful
The course was in beautiful condition and the layout was close to the some of the more exspensive courses around. We started late in the day, 1:52, ao so we only got in 15 holes but so well worth it. I live in South Chandler but the 202 west got me there in less than 35 minutes of easy driving. I will be back eventhough I probably passed 20 courses to get there.
