About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

Excellent Conditions
First time playing AGC. After two days of steady rain, the course was in excellent playing conditions. All surfaces had been or were being cut. Greens were very receptive to shots and rolled true. All tee boxes were level. Fairways were in fabulous shape. Can’t speak about the sand traps, as I was successful in avoiding them. Played as a single in 3 hrs. and 15 minutes, walking. Best conditions at a muni course I have ever played. Worth the 1 hour drive. Go soon to enjoy this gem for yourself.

Solid day out
They had just aerated the greens two days before but otherwise course was in great shape. Layout was forgiving, but also provided some fun challenging shots.

Big Improvement
Last time I played the club house was a shack. Very nice and the course was in great shape considering it was 110+ degrees. Really I joyed the day.
