About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

Top notch course
After playing courses like Legacy and The Raven in this area Aguila is by far a better course and the best value by a long shot. You’ll also save a lot of money playing here instead!!! The course played firm and fast and the greens were spectacular. We walked and played in 4hrs. The practice facilities are great with multiple putting greens and chipping areas. There’s even a par 3 course that’s in equally good shape. Highly recommend this course to anyone!

Very nice conditions and tough layout
I played in the middle of the Arizona summer which was incredibly hot. However, the course conditions were well above average for the Phoenix area in August and water and restrooms were available to help cool down. Course has some tough layouts and undulating fairways. Even a few desert washes with tall vegetation to help you keep focused on a good shot. Lots of wildlife, to include rats in the washes. Hey, what do you expect for south Phoenix?

Aguila Fall Round
The course was in good shape. The greens rolled really well. The tee boxes could use some attention but overall the course is a fun track.

It was a wide open track, fairways were in decent shape. I loved the quickness of the greens and they were in good shape. Best part of my game is my putting, but I couldn’t figure out the subtleties. I’m from Seattle and if I lived here I believe I would play here often
