About
The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5's are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila's Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.

Really good layout, poor pace
Love the layout here, some really good risk/reward options, too many "Touur attitude" golfers spending too much time searching for golf balls and pre-shot routines, grip and rip when it's 100 degrees......Bev cart service not good

Solid Course
Good course for the value. Fairways are good. Most of the tee boxes are really nice. Greens are running pretty fast! Carts could use coolers in this AZ heat!

Goof course
We were recommended Aguila while playing a different course. It was the third course we have played in Phoenix and is the BEST of the three. Looking forward to our next trip to Phoenix...Aguila will be the first course we play!!

Good municipal course
Nice course. Pace of play was a little slow in the morning but tolerable. Our foursome finished 18 holes in 4 hours and 10 minutes. Course is firm and the greens were fast.
