Aguila Golf Course

Fairways and greens are hard and fast. Keeping the ball in the fairway a must. and below the hole on the greens. sand traps are excellent. Only negative was walkers in front of us slowed us down.. Paired with two nice gentleman from DC that could really hit the ball.

Areas around the greens were very rough, with little grass to play off of.

Course overall is very nice, greens were challenging.

I love the new changes they have made in the sand traps and greens. It is always a good time

This course has some challenging holes, was fun to play. Greens in great shape will be back to play.

First time here and I will return. While I would not say anything is off the charts impressive I was not disappointed either. Facilities are nice, staff is attentive, everything was on time and moved along throughout the day. The fairways and greens are in good shape. They have the dead rough thing going on for winter as a lot of places do. I would say the course has a good variety of holes. It is overall pretty forgiving and a good player could score low here. Added bonus the people I was paired with were regulars and a pleasure to play with.

Aguila is a great muni to play. The layout has a good mix of challenging par 4s and short par 4s. Nice views of the south mountains. Friendly staff. Good practice facility. Great value. Highly recommended.

Interesting layout with generous fairways and some elevation changes. Excellent value.

We played on a windless day and enjoyed it very much. Big greens that roll true. Fairways and buckets in good shape. Will play again.

Challenging layout every time you play. The course is wonderful and very scenic.

Played early pace was excellent . Greens looked beat up but rolled quick and true. Very playable course. Great course to start your golf vacation and get rust out. Will definitely play again

Aguila is always a pleasure to play. They try to keep it in good shape and do a pretty good job. Some of the best greens around. Traps are usually guite good, which is better than most courses can say. Good time.

Easy to find, easy check in, water buckets for towels, ice for us, carts good with sand bottles, tees pretty good, fairways good, bunkers with some sand , front nine greens pretty sparse with grass and furrows affect roll, back nine seem better, good pace today, ok price on GN, can't drive carts to car

Aguila was a very enjoyable course to play. The layout is challenging enough that bad shots will hurt you, but for the most part is fairly open and well thought out. The conditions were nice and the scenery was great. You get a desert golf feel at this course, which is what I look for when I play in Phoenix. For only $45, this course is a great deal, and would make for a great 'warm-up' course for a serious golfing trip. I will definitely be back to play Aguila in the future!
