Course Highlights
Quintero's dramatic elevation changes and uniquely designed holes make it one of Arizona's most celebrated layouts. Welcoming staff and well-maintained conditions consistently reward golfers who make the scenic drive out.

About

Holes 18
Type Semi-Private
Style Desert/Traditional
Par 72
Length 7249 yards
Slope 148
Rating 75.3

Located in the desert just north of Phoenix and Scottsdale, the golf course at Quintero Golf Club is a challenge but with up to as many as nine tees per hole, it can accommodate golfers of all different abilities and handicaps. The rolling, desert terrain of the course features dramatic elevation changes for interesting play. The golf course's design has wide fairways and plenty of water hazards and sand bunkers. The most difficult hole is the par-5 8th hole, which plays uphill with three large bunkers alongside the right side of the lay-up area. Another difficult but noteworthy hole is Quintero Golf Club's third, which has a scenic lake to the left that sometimes tricks golfers into playing close to it with their tee shot for an easier second shot to the green.

Great course

Great course and will definitely play again. The weather was not good the day we played - windy and rainy so it was not as enjoyable. Definitely recommend the course to others

Elevation changes and views smoke anything in Scottsdale

Conditions were great for overseesding being recent. I would definitely recommend playing up a box for the next month due to fairways being super soft and so many uphill approaches. Tough to score when you hit your drive well and are consistently hitting hybrid-5 irons into average par 4’s haha. Greens were running out all day and seemed to be at peak season speed.

Always spectacular!

Quintero is my favorite Arizona golf course.

I’ll drive an hour and a half to play it when the price is right.

It’s challenging and a beautiful view from most every tee box.

Outstanding

Always an outstanding round at. Quintero. Favorite course in AZ. Was cart path only and was still able to finish in under 4 hours. Early afternoon teetime. Fairways were great, greens rolled fast but true, and views were exceptional.

Course layout is amazing

Course itself is perfect, nearly unbeatable compared to the rest of the courses in Arizona, including private courses. Pace of play was dead slow.

Bucket list

Thank you to the Quintero ground crew. Course is in great shape for late Arizona summer. Quintero was everything I hope for. Fair and challenging. I’m not a big hitter. A few of the holes I found myself in between clubs because my lack of distance off the tee. Best part part threes in the valley? Yes, I feel they are. I’m looking forward to the next round.

Beautiful course

Love Quintero, from the course conditions, layout, staff friendliness, views and challenge of the course. It is definitely one of the best courses in Arizona. It is not a cheap course to play, but when I can occasionally find a deal that I can afford, it is worth the drive out there to play. The course is in great shape from tee to green and I love that it’s way out in the middle of nowhere with no houses to ruin the awesome views. It is a challenging course that makes you hit good shots to score, but it is fair. Would be a very tough course for a high handicapper.

Best Course In Phoenix Area

Absolutely love this golf course. I have played almost all the public courses in the Phoenix area and this is number one for me. The tee boxes are perfect .......fairways are perfect......greens are fast. The elevation changes are so much fun to play especially the par 3s. Just an incredible course.

Quintero

Still one of the best public courses in Phoenix. I love all the par 3’s. Elevated and tricked out but real fun. Got a hot deal online and we’ll worth it.
