A lot of potential
I was pleasantly surprised by Magnolia Point. The staff are super friendly. I really liked the layout of the course. The greens and fairways are in great condition. Most of the tee boxes are good too. If you miss the fairway, that is where the issues lay. The rough area is not well maintained. Also, the bunkers need a lot of work. I will definitely go back. Great value for the money.
Great Day out
Had a great day out on my Birthday! Met a couple nice gents and although I didnt play as well as I hoped - the course was in very nice condition, the sand traps were hard pan but otherwise fairways and greens in good shape. Thanks MP for keeping course conditions up to par!
Thank you for your review and positive feedback. We're glad to hear that you were paired up with a good group! We apologize for the sand traps, we've had a lot of rain and that usually means we are unable to fluff up the sand traps. We look forward to having you back out soon!
Enjoyable Round
Been playing Mag Pt for over 30 years and seen ups and downs. This was up! Greens were consistent and pretty good, although on the slower side. Tees and fairways also pretty good.
We were twosome and two different foursomes let us through...great courtesy!
Staff most helpful. One player left wedge on range, we called shoo and ranger tracked us down and delivered wedge.
Overall very nice experience!

Magnolia Point Golf & CC
My first time playing this course. I booked the reservation using the GolfNow app for a 4:30 tee time. I checked in ~45 min ahead of my reservation to find that the Club's POS and reservation system was down and they we blind as to who was scheduled or supposed to play.
During my play, I departed early with the permission of the Pro shop. I found the course to be in great shape. My only problem was my own. Too many lost balls.
As a universal hot weather policy across all courses, I'd like to see better attention paid to the state of the refreshment centers filled with ice water. The course didn't have anyone running a refreshment cart during my time of play and the Igloo drink cooler(s) at select tee boxes were depleted along the front 9.
Further, as a matter of safety and health, I'd like to see, at all Florida courses, the ability to buy bags of ice and have small coolers on board every cart to store ice. The heat index was > 100* F.
Thank you for your review and constructive feedback. We will definitely make sure that there is water on the course when the afternoon rounds start going around. This is not a normal occurrence so we will look to see how we can better manage the water during the hot months.
Nice track
Greens and fairways in great condition. Little soggy with all the rain we had so we were cart path only on a few holes. Fun, challenging course.

Pictures on website looked amazing
Clubhouse and course did not live up to expectations from the website. The course was challenging and not in great condition. I think the price was too high for the course.

We strive to make the course the best it can be but we are also fighting with mother nature and with all the rain we have received, we are not showing our best side. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to earn those last 2 stars.
Fair priced for a good course $35
Greens very slow and a little sandy from aeration. Fairways sub par but decent enough to be challenging. Good layout as well. Cart paths mostly located only near tee boxes, par threes and 18th hole.

Course was not in good condition due no rain greens were very slow
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and apologize that your experience wasn't up to your standard. We have been in quite a drought and our irrigation does not cover the entire course which is why you see dry spots. We recently poked our greens which is why they are thick and slow as we are trying to let them grow back in before we cut them down. Hopefully you will give us another chance to earn those last 2 stars on your next visit.
Decent
This was my first time playing here. The course was challenging but not too bad. Course was in good condition except for the greens. Very bumpy and super slow.

We appreciate your patience with our greens as we just aerated 10 days ago and the greens are still recovering from that procedure. We hope that will come back later in the summer to see the greens after they've fully grown in.
Always challenging
Course was as I remember. Greens were Sandy after aeration- which I knew before hand so that’s not an issue. Bottom line you need to hit good shots here which for 95% of the time I did. Maybe 1 bad hole. That said I hit a lot of greens so it would have been nice to have been putting real nice greens. Made 3 birdies anyway. Pace of play was good and we didn’t hold anyone up as one player was using a up tee. Nice round. Again you need to hit pure shots to score here.
Thank you for your review and appreciate your feedback on the course. We take pride that this track is not a regular flat course and gives the player a lot of different looks throughout the round. We are working hard to get the greens back up to speed and believe they are ahead of schedule post-aeration. We hope to see you out again in the near future!
Muni-style course
The green were just aerated, so I can't give the greens a review, but the non-existent cart paths, dirt/sand areas throughout the course (including in many areas of the fairways) left much to be desired. The course layout is decent. All staff was very friendly. Good for an inexpensive round, but not a course I would add to my rotation. YMMV
