Mountain Vista Golf Club - San Gorgonio Course

No food or beverage service available do to remodeling and perhaps time of year, otherwise excellent choice of golf course

Unfortunately for us the only s really windy day of our stay was yesterday. The course was everything you would expect it to be which is great. We paled with a 2and a half club wind T us for 16 holes. I quit keeping score after the first hole as it was almost impossible to keep your balance. It was extremely unfortunate as it is a beautiful course.

In season it plays very slow.

Some staff not exactly helpful and they seem to give better treatment to residents vs public.

Unable to stop a ball on the greens, even with a sand wedge.

Enjoyed this course and the friendly Southern Californians we golfed with! Was not told it would be a shot gun start and that was disappointing but not unmanageable. No services for drinks or food so stock up before you arrive.

Course was in good shape and the pace was excellent.

There were no amenities at all except water.

So bring a lunch.

Also they don’t except cash.

Both the courses are in great condition. Our fees of $79 pp, a great deal for the Desert.

We’ll be back!

Great layout, tees for all levels, greens very firm, fairways were perfect.

Great course condition Pretty holes. Difficult greens to read. Pace of play 4:15. My complaint is the unusual lay out with front nine with 4 par 3s 3 par 5s and one 3 on back nine. Hard to get a rhythm

Arrive early as can take a while to get in the gate

The course was beautifully maintained. there were no snack amenities, so you had to bring your own.

While the clubhouse is closed, and as a result no on course amenities, we found the course to be in great shape, though super challenging, hard greens. Bunkers were many, but the sand was in perfect shape. Also playing with someone who knows the course would be an advantage to let you know about the water that was not always easy to navigate. Overall lovely course would definitely play again.
