Greens and fairways in excellent shape. Course easy to navigate with wide fairways

Rode the Blacks (6669/71.9/128) in less than 2.5H as a single first out. Chilly when teeing off, but sunny and calm conditions that warmed up to the low 60's when finishing.

Tees were lush and well maintained with few unfixed divots.

Fairways mostly lush and very nice to play from. Firm and mowed low enough that the ball doesn't sit up like on a tee, you have to make clean strikes.

Rough is 2-3", lush and thick.

Sand traps have high quality white marble sand and were excellent. Some of the best maintained traps I encounter anywhere.

Large over seeded greens are firm, so expect some runout. Medium fast speed and smooth.

No GPS on the basic carts or ports for electronics. No driving range, you have to go 1/2 mile down the street where the sister Santa Rosa course has a nice, all grass driving range. Customer service always ++ here. No on course services with COVID.

Billy Casper design that is mostly flat with few elevation changes. Numerous well spaced tees, it's a good test for players of all skill levels. Nice balance in play ability and difficulty with some forced carries on tee shots over lakes from the back tees.

If you want to play a course(s) right now economically with social distancing in place, the two Mountain Vista's are about as good as it gets. Have played 54 holes here this week in plush conditions and was within a hole of another golfer maybe 4 of the 54 holes? Almost more maintenance workers than golfers. Highly recommended.

Approaches to the greens are unfair and overly protected

Nice course however cart path only never good for pace of play.

The course was fantastic! Very sad the cart girl left @ 1:00. The Marshall's were old, unfriendly, lazy and rude! Get someone that's people-friendly with some personality!

Poorly organized ,could have been sent out earlier.no player’s on the course yet made us wait and put three foursomes out in front of our twosomes.course on the other hand really well maintained Fairway, greens are nice

I really don’t understand why it was cart path, there was only one hole with water. The rest of the course was great. Not a single shot that I hit was wet. When I said that to the guy at clerk, he said that the decision was made by the best groundskeeper of the valley and he ran away. What a disgusting way to treat a customer. I said that the groundskeeper were the ones who were buying 100 of rolls of bathroom tissue.

Thoroughly enjoyed our round. Course is so lush and well maintained not a bad lie anywhere. The white sand bunkers were some of the best I’ve ever seen. As others have mentioned greens were a little ugly in spots but rolled true. I highly recommend this course and for the price $95 Golfnow a steal for prime season in the desert.

Showed up and was directed to wrong course . When there Don at the Ckubhkuse was rude and not very helpful

A very challenging course, that will test even the most seasoned golfer... with numerous par 3s on the front ,changes to mostly par 4s on the back, with lots of water challenges throughout! Supper in the Boulevards restaurant was very good afterward as well!

Course layout is ok. Excellent white sand trap give good sight lines.

Greens are tough with lots of undulation. Make sure you use practice putting green as it represents what you see.

Fairways are shot and run fast. Many greens lack a good root system so are patchy but they do roll ok. They hold a shot and many were soft. We played Gold Tees at 6200 and 123 slope. Front 9 need to score as is under 2800 yards and par 35- back is 3500 + and par 37. Enjoyable but greens need work. Fairway and rough very good.

Surprisingly quiet and easy to play (3.75 hrs.) considering how many homes (5000) surround these two challenging but beautiful courses. Lots of water features, plenty of white sand bunkers, elevated and interesting greens, generous but undulating fairways, doglegs - it’s all here to test any golfer. Very playable off the tee. Easy driving course. just enough challenge coming into the greens to make it interesting. Four and half stars

Nice course, good layout, big difference (700 yards), between front and back. We didn’t see any staff except one person at the end of our round to wash our clubs and ask for tip, very ordinary.
