Great Course
Rack rates are too high but if you can get a deal around $50 its well worth it. Pace was great at 11:15 tee time as we plated in under 4 hours.
Worth playing.
Unusual layout on front 9. Challenge for first timers could be helped by better scorecard diagrams to indicate hidden hazards. Course was in good shape and greens made for tricky putting. Worth playing.
Overview
The course was fine and great conditions, only problem was that it was a shotgun start and was not mentioned when booking and we had problem as there were three group assigned to our par 3 hole and the error was not corrected. We went to pro shop to complain and it was closed up tight. So we were 20 minutes late starting but still took only 4 hours to play from there. I would recommend the course but there was a lack of help and information.
5 star golfing experience!
This was perfect in all areas - Course ondition, staff friendliness, weather, etc., etc.
If someone was not happy golfing San Gorgonio on the 26th of Dec., they are too hard to please!
Thank you very much!
Prestine condition
Played the course for the first time while vacationing in the area, and managed to snag a Hot Deal rate on GolfNow for $30. Naturally with that rate, I was skeptical as far as course conditions go, but was I in for a treat! The course was lush, green and immaculate. The layout was nontraditional to begin the round with 5 Par 3's on the front side, but it was quite enjoyable. The entire course was very well manicured from tee to green and the greens rolled true and fairly fast. I would venture to guess, you would be hard pressed to find a course in nicer condition for the low rate possible through GolfNow.
Nice course
Make sure you go to the other course early as there are no practice facilities at this one, only a putting green.
love this place
I love this course, the layout is great and it is challenging for the average golfer. Just getting to reseed so it was dry fairways and fast fast greens. good time
Played just before oveseeding
We played here just before it was being closed for over seeding. Consequently we didn't get to see it at its best as the fairways were brown and bare. However we still enjoyed it. The greens were quick and the layout of the course was good - we'll definitely play it again when it has recovered. Pace of play was just over 4 hours and the Marshall was diligent in moving on the people in front who held us up a little. Good value course.
Overcrowded
Poor pace of play, no evidence of a Marshall.
Overcrowded!
2.5 hours to play the front nine. Quit after 11.
The course condition was reasonable for two weeks before over seeding
GREAT DEAL!
Definitely the best course we played all week. They will be closed ina week for over seeding. The greens were perfect.
Pretty plain jane
A flat course with not much in the way of change. Wide open fairways and then water tucked away where you can't see it. Not much of a challenge as best way to play is lay up and then pitch to greens. Poor shape but understandable as just before overseeding. No shade and long holes are uphill. Seemed backwards to appropriate playing. Won't
play this one again.
The best value course in great condition
We could not find a better course with this condition and affordable price at desert. The course is wide, friendly, not too many sand bunkers, still very green. Golf now made a great deal for my round. 25 dollars with cart, unbeatable. The pace of play is also very good, we finished 18 holes for only 3 hours 45 minutes.
Such a pleasure to play here.
The Pace of Play Dooms This Course
This course does not do well in early Fall.
The greens are brown, sparse and without grass in key areas.
The Santa Rosa course was closed for overseeding and all the play was on the San Gorgonio course, which was swamped with elderly hackers.
It was so slow we never finished. As we drove back to the clubhouse we could see 4 foursomes on every hole.
The marshall was aware that the group in front was two holes behind but was unable to move them faster.
The greeting here was nonexistent. You simply checked in at the pro shop and waited to be called.
No cart service here.
The course is wide open and easy. There are plenty of palm trees and local plantings throughout.
Everything here is dry and brown. They do not water much.
I guess that during the Spring this course would be much more lush. Note to travel planner: Palm Springs in the Spring.

Love the Experience!
Have played the course several times and will continue
to play it!
San Gorgonio
Nice course, unfortunately the weather was against us.
Lots of rain, we quit after 9 holes :-(
Great course
Great price- nice stall- fast pace of play
Disparity/Poor Communication with GolfNow
The pro shop took 17 minutes to check me in even tho I was the only one there. Their computer does not interface with either GolfNow directly nor with their sister pro shop 400 yards away. The pro shop did not even have the phone number of GolfNow to straighten it out. I finally got checked in by some miracle. GolfNow and this course's management should fix this problem.
No practice range and there is a huge disparity of yardage comparing the front nine (2700 yards) and the back at (3517). Now why wouldn't the management there increase the front nine yardage and decrease the back nine yardage? I suppose that would require too much imagination on their behalf.
Greens were recently airiated and sanded thus very slow. Good golf carts but no GPS.Lies near greens were much too tight bordering on the unfair. At lease half of the lies on the fairways were brown-out lies.
On the positive side, there were buckets of water every 4 holes to wet one's towel and the sand bunkers were in very good shape.
I would rate the course with a B- grade for this time of year. (HOT!!)
Well manicured entertaining short course
First time playing here. Well-kept beautiful course in a private community. It plays very short. I played the blue tees but after the round I realized I should've played the blacks. I am not a long hitter but this course is incredibly short. They do place the hazards well however when I say short, I mean that I was hitting nine iron to Lobwedge into the greens on the par fours. I think it tops out around 5900 yards from the blue tees. I didn't really look at this on the scorecard when I got to the course. They paired me with a very friendly couple of older gentleman that played from the whites. Thankfully I did not play from there because I found out that the white tees are just about 5000 yards. That being said, and at a par 72, I shot a nice low round which made me feel great. As for the course… It was very well-kept as most are in the desert. Great conditions of all the boxes, fairways, rough, and greens. It goes through a housing community however the fairways are incredibly wide so you don't have much of a concern of spraying it into the houses. I can say it was very nice smashing your drives over the fairway bunkers and approaching from such short distance. I don't normally get on par fives in two but I did on two of the holes on the course. The ones I didn't I was chipping distance away. I don't want this to make it sound like it wasn't a great experience because the quality of the golf course was very high, just keep in mind that it is not a long track.
Excellent course and outing
This is a pretty straight forward course. Traps and hazards are usually obvious. Fairways are generous and loosing a ball is pretty hard. The greens rolled true and there were a large variety of tee boxes - something for all skill levels. The course is beautiful and the setting is also beautiful. The only thing I would add are flower beds. The only bad experience was our greeting at the bag drop. We waited for some tie before we got a cart. The pro shop is small and has very few things, except necessities to buy so don't come early to shop.
