Beautiful and Enjoyful
It was lovely to view and challenging. We will go play again.
Marshall and Pro shop Staff
Course marshal was most helpful when we we're looking to get some ice and water Specific directions to help us get hydrated in our summer heat. We went to wrong clubhouse tobstart and staff was most helpful to help us. No comments about being a lost golfer. Plus a big bottle of water to start us out. Will book again using Golf Now
The greens roll
For this time of year the greens are very good, overall course conditions are surprisingly good. Almost like having the course to yourself, had a great time.
Fun Course
Great course! Wide open with the occasional water hazard. Supreme friendly staff. Got the chance to experience the deserts 20 mph winds, made the tee shots very interesting. Highly recommend.
Just a note, the Santa Rosa course is closer to the gate entrance and the San Giorgino is further back.
Hidden gem
Played this course for $30 on Sat 5/9 at 12:00. Nobody in front of me and finished in about 3 1/2 hours. Not one browned out area on the whole course. They seem to use recycled water and are able to keep up the irrigation. Fairways, rough and tee boxes were in perfect condition.Bunkers full of course sand like many other desert courses.
While the fairways are very wide, many holes have sharp doglegs which introduce trouble. Very few fairway bunkers but greens are surrounded and many are elevated which puts the short game at a premium.
This is not a course thast beats you up but isjust a p-leasure to play. It is not extremely hard but is not a pushover. Doglegs and features around the greens present challenges. The green, green grass makes the afternoon pleasant.
Nice purse
Good pace, good conditions. Ok all is good. How's your mother etc etcetc
great over all
This course is always in perfect shape I play every year I do not stay at sun City and the prices are competitive as well. I have played here for over 5 years.

This course is a good. Ix
We enjoyed playing this course. There was a little waiting on each hole but not too bad. It is a good value in April
Beautiful Fairways
While the fairways and water features are fantastic the greens needsome TLC.
Many ballmarks unrepaired and traps unraked. The starter was not very welcoming but other staff were great.
Overall goodvaluecourse. Watch out for strong windsin late afternoon
Nice surprise
We've been playing golf in the desert for years but this was our first time playing Mountain Vista. We really enjoyed ourselves. Nice track, challenging but not over the top difficult. We'll be back.
Don't expect to eat during game
They need to explain better that there is essentially no food service on the course and we here you can get food.
Otherwise a lovely course
Perfect for Camels
Good conditions on a course that is not overly difficult, although you are always laying around houses. For some strange reason, the club really skimps on the drinking water. TAKE WATER. For a desert course, it is astounding that there is only water available in one location where the 5th and 13 tees cross, so you play 9 holes (5 thru 13) without water. It was 95 degrees.
Beautiful day, Beautiful course
Had a 6:50am tee time so the course was a bit wet, but it was in beautiful condition (everything had been well overseeded) and it was a gorgeous day. The pace of play was excellent - we felt no pressure either from behind or in front (we were the first group to start for the day). The course is sufficiently wide to reduce the risk of hitting the surrounding homes. I highly recommend Mountain Vista.
Early Bird
2nd group to tee off and we were able to play in 3 hours. Course was in great shape. Greens were rolling very true and pretty quick. Range wasn't open for us early in the morning so that was a bummer. No drink cups at the water filling stations and no drink cart left us thirsty. there is a bit more room inbetween all the houses compared to Sun City Shadow Hills.
Very lush course
Course was in excellent condition. It is in a housing development and houses can come into play.
Golf shop facilities were poor and staff was neither friendly nor informative. Construction had parking and bag drop well away from proshop. Cost was a little high for the lack of amenities.
fairways were immacalate
course is located within a gated community. seemed to taylor towards regulars which is fine. we played on a tuesday early morning and were able to get out as a twosome. the rough was really tall! looks like it hadnt been mowed in a week! had a super hard time finding our balls the first couple of holes! but they were mowing ahead of us and after about 4-5 holes, the rough was more reasonable (and we started to play better!) the best part of this course were the fairways! they were immaculate! almost as if they had minimum play. overall, the course isnt that hard except for the greens. just about every green was two or more tiers with almost no flat putts. and being this was our first time playing, putting was crazy! also, fee was a little expensive given no services (beverage cart and club house) overall, really nice course and not as crowded or overplayed
San Gorgonio is ok
San Gorgonio is part of a housing complex. It is a basic course, well maintained, with challenging greens. Perhaps because it is part of a development there is wall to wall grass everywhere - like some massive park. Acres and acres! Irrigation water consumption must be huge. Because the fairways and "rough" (read "lush') are so wide, the houses are rarely a concern for players. Ponds and bunkers cause one to pay attention on many holes. We quite enjoyed ourselves in spite of the rudimentary facilities. You pick up your cart on the edge of the parking lot and drive to the small starter building to check in.
There is no practice facility at San Gorgonio, so we were directed to the Santa Rosa sister course about 5 minutes away by golf cart. (Luckily we arrived in plenty of time since we weren't sure how to get to the course and had allowed lots of time. Turns out it is very easy to find.) Range has mats - not grass.
We had an enjoyable day and the course was fun to play.
Great Course - no food or beverages
Loved this course and the conditions of the grounds, fairways, greens, etc, BUT there was no food or beverages to be purchased anywhere on the course. Not even a protein bar at the Pro shop or at the turn. I've never been on a golf course in my life that didn't have any food available anywhere. If you play here, bring a sandwich and beverages, or you'll be miserable like we were by the end of your round. According to the Marshall, most people that play are residents and bring their own food and drinks so a beverage cart would "bleed money".
Sun City
My wife and I played with a couple from Sun City and they were very enjoyable. Will play this course again
weird course
The first 18 hole course that i have ever played that the first 9 holes had 4 par 3's. The back nine was normal. The fairways were perfect condition but the greens would not hold a ball. Two courses there, we played San Gorgino...very confusing to get to correct course because no signs!! Golf Now no mentioion that the hot deal was a SHOT GUN START!!!
