About
Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood boasts two 18-hole courses, the East and the West. The golf courses are about equal in difficulty but each offers a different set of challenges. The West Course was added over 20 years after the original East Course, which was built in the 1930s. This newer layout has more water hazards and there are also several massive bunkers treacherously lurking about the greensides. The challenging elements are nicely balanced by wide-open, player-friendly fairways and small greens with few breaks. The golf course is overall very forgiving but it offers interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Orangebrook C.C. boasts extensive practice facilities that include a spacious lighted driving range with distance markers and a practice bunker.

Friendly course
The greens are not in mint condition, but the course has a nice layout and it is nice to play through. Staff is friendly. We like this course - been there many times over the years.

Depends on how much you pay
We enjoyed this course last year. Several greens have a lot of weeds and sand this year . Quite disappointing but we know they had terrible heat this summer. We’ll still give it a chance and hope it will perk up with a little TLC. We’ll go back if we get a discount.

Nice fairways bad greens
Loved the wildlife. Clubhouse is old, but plenty of swag at good prices. Great layout, uses most of your clubs. Some holes require lots dispersion and shot making. Greens were either burnt up or had some fungi going on. Friendly members and good fairways. Greens left me disappointed.

Greens Need Lots of Work
Nearly all greens were in need of major work: lots of crabgrass throughout. Staff was very helpful, though. Would only recommend if purchased at a deep discount on Golf Now or Tee Off, as I did: +/- $10p.p.

Pass on this course in poor condition
Been awhile since playing here, course condition gotten worse with many green not worth putting due to terrible half bare spots and uneven grass. Fairways not mowed recently with lots of water mud areas. No water on course, trash buckets turned upside down near tees. Will not be bak to play here. Practice area to hit balls no plastic tee to hit driver-woods and not able to tee into carpet.

Short term Issue
We had a bad storm come through last week. Only the front nine is open due to flooding. Wasn't aware until I arrived. Don't know how long this will last.
Our visitors from the north arriving, this makes the pace of play much slower than during the summer.
